Force India’s 100th Grand Prix appearance was an up-and-down affair for Paul di Resta. Fastest in first practice on Friday, he was bumped out in the first round of qualifying for the second race in a row on Saturday.

He bounced back superbly during the race, making a single pit stop as he made up ten places to finish seventh.

  1. Outstanding head-on shots. Again.

  2. Damn Nico’s tyres look rubbish there. I was baffled to see them doing another stint with the supersofts…

Yeah, noticed that too, looks like they need still need another Pirelli test..

    2. In fact, his left front is locking up in that photo. Looking close you can see the tire smoke just starting. During the race they showed Nico totally cooking his tire for miles and miles.

  3. Perez picture is like racing in an asphalt rally stage!

  4. That first picture of di Resta with the helmet and hans device on the sidepod makes it look like he’s driving one of those 3 seater F1 cars.

  5. DiResta ‘wooooow what’s in this bong? I’m having an out of body experience’

  6. Most beautiful photo = McLaren in the wilderness – shows the the beauty of this racetrack and describes the McLaren situation perfectly.

Mr. Obvious Award – The photo where all the cars are lined up racing nose to tail and Maldonado is plowing the back of Sutil. Oooops…

    Best racing photo = Hamilton/Alonso

    Great shot = JEV

  7. On lap 61 they both slowed as they approached the DRS detection line – each trying to be the second driver across it

that’s the sad part about f1 nowadays

  8. Alonso vs Hamilton, Ferrari vs. Mercedes. Classic pic. Goes right on my desktop background. Thanks Keith,

    1. The picture also clearly shows the stupidity of DRS, with the rear wing flap open on the Ferrari and closed on the Mercedes. Not a fair fight at all.

  9. im glad Kimi made the top ten. the best and will be a RBR driver next year
