2014 Hungarian Grand Prix Sunday in Tweets

2014 Hungarian Grand Prix

Daniel Ricciardo is ready to get the party started after scoring his second career win in a thrilling Hungarian Grand Prix.

Here are the Twitter highlights from Sunday.

Build-up

Ferrari were happier with their GP2 youngster Raffaele Marciello than yesterday, while McLaren’s Stoffel Vandoorne won the sprint race.

The Hungaroring was hit by rain less than an hour before the start, which set up an exciting grand prix.

Race

Jean-Eric Vergne’s strong showing in the early stages of the race made for an unusual sight, as he passed Nico Rosberg.

Sebastian Vettel was lucky to continue after spinning on the pit straight.

    Time to pay your bills @Lotus_F1Team?

    Seriously tho, talk about the last team that should be trash talking.

    • Trash talking? It was just an amusing comment about the ensuing drama. Any malice you’re seeing must be your own invention. I can only assume you still have a shoulder somewhere underneath that enormous chip…

      They do it because we love it, and I for one wouldn’t like them to change, even if their car sucks now

    Haha, love that last tweet from Ricciardo! It’s nice to see F1 drivers acting as human beings, sadly it’s becoming quite rare nowadays…

      @bradley13
      There are many people out there arguing about personality vs. racing skill defining who their favourite driver is.

      I laugh at them all because Dan’s one of my favourites, and he’s both one hell of a driver and a cracking guy to know :)

  4. Hopefully someone takes Dans phone away as he necks that mighty magnum o mumm
    He’s gonna be smashed
