Has the US GP ever been live on the BBC?

    1. yes. 2 years ago the BBC had all live races.

      1. Sadly, you’re wrong. The BBC last had live race in 2011, Austin was introduced in 2012, and it has never been shown live.

        1. damn, has it really been 3 seasons since bbc did a full season? Time flies.

  2. I have an addition to “How to watch F1 around the world”

    Austria
ORF 1 HD: All qualifyings and races live. Practice highlights. Uninterrupted and in 720p. Commentary by Ernst Hausleitner & Alexander Wurz (or Karl Wendlinger when Wurz is racing). Additional commentary for people with visual impairment available.

Free-to-air to all Austrian residents. With some tricks available in Germany, too.

    1. @dh1996 Wurz should be racing this weekend just so you know. He will be in Shanghai.

  3. In Australia:
Qualifying live on Ten in the early hours of the morning and replayed around midday on One
Race live on One so that it doesn’t clashes with Studio10 and Ten’s morning programs, it will be replayed at 11.30pm Monday night after Tyrant.

  4. @keith m8 i clicked the how to watch f1 around the world and for Greece in there says that annual cost is 20€ which is wrong .. this is per month.

Im just saying it because this is what i use to see.

  5. Thought it was a bit odd that the race starts 2 hours later than qualifying the day before, but checked it out and the clocks go back this weekend in the US so it makes sense. Autosport still lists it starting at 1900 GMT, so one up there, Keith!

  6. Does anyone know the channel in Jamaica? I’m going there on holiday for two weeks.. potentially missing two races!Any help appreciated!

    1. m8 i searched a bit… i found only this where you must choose the local provider there.
      http://www.tvguide.com/listings/setup/localizeInt.aspx?Country=Jamaica

Better call the hotel there to ask if they have a package to be sure… or else internet stream… i cannot think anything else.

  7. My thanks for the “How to watch F1 around the world”, it was interesting reading.

  8. Really clever BBC, choose one of the only races where highlights are going to be on too late for people who want to be sensible with work the next day… and only show highlights.

    1. My brother works in Singapore. He’s going to bed at 7pm on Sunday night to watch the race at 0400ish.

  9. For US viewers on NBC Sports its a 1pm start for Quali and 3pm start for race

    1. Qualy and the Race are both on the full NBC Network not NBC Sports Network
      Here’s the full schedule:
Practice 1 NBCSN 12:30PM EDT (delayed from 11AM)
Practice 2 NBCSN 3PM EDT (Live)
Practice 3 NBC 1PM EDT (delayed from 11AM)
      Qualifying NBC 2PM EDT (Live)
Countdown to F1 NBCSN 2PM-2:30PM EST (Live)
Countdown to F1 NBC 2:30PM-3PM EST (Live)
      Race NBC 3PM-5PM EST (Live)
F! Extra NBC 5PM-6PM EST (Live)

The US switches back to Standard Time at 2AM Sunday

  10. @keithcollantine – How to watch F1 around the world is a little bit misleading in Australia as qualifying is shown mainly live on One where as Ten shows qualifying live for Aus GP and rounds that fall in the early hours of the morning. Races are shown live on One or Ten, One shows the races that doesn’t start 10pm, morning hours so that it doesn’t clash with Ten’s breakfast programs and Australian GP. While Ten shows Australian GP, races that start at 10pm for AEST and races that start before their breakfast programs

  11. @keithcollantine – I have a small suggestion for these pages: would it be possible to have them stickied near the top of the front page during the whole of the weekend? I sometimes need to check the broadcast times on Saturday and Sunday, for the American and Asian GPs especially, and it’s a slight inconvenience to scroll all the way down and try to to find the page among all the tweet selections and round-ups, etc.

It doesn’t take a huge effort but an inconvenience nevertheless. Anyways, just something to think about. :)

    1. this is been an annoying me to having to go through loads of pages to get to it

  12. im on moters tv now and there is no 6 hours of shanghai?

some race in spain bianai series or somthing?

    1. That was 2.30 am. The race finished at 9am

      1. i clicked after i posted i feel such a fool waiting for it

delete this keith i feel silly now
