The bi-weekly reveal of whether or not I have to give Rupert Murdoch 7 quid….

    Not this time Rupe!

    1. @fullcoursecaution Because of the way the BBC/Sky bidding process works, ordinarily you wouldn’t get three consecutive live free-to-air races within a season. However this is the third live race in a row on the BBC, because they left the German Grand Prix for Sky, which was then cancelled.

Someone at the BBC played their cards well at the negotiation!

      1. Hah, I didn’t notice that! Good observation.

I couldn’t have timed using my Sky Sports free trial any worse…

      2. maybe if your country bought more ferraris and mercs lol… free to air for ALL MAJOR AUTO BUYING COUNTRIES!!!

what gets me is still having to pay for cable/satellite/internet to watch what is being offered for free. even worse is when the coverage is interrupted for ads!

    2. I like how having a choice over spending 7 quid is such a terrible thing, but being forced to hand over 150 quid a year or face prison is somehow more honourable :D

      Only in Britain…

  2. Been waiting for this for a while now (like all of you). Cant wait for the race. Really hoping Kimi can do something special. Although it may sound a bit cliché, I really hope the king can get a podium or hopefully a win.

Amen. Kimi on form rocks at Spa

  3. This might be a good chance for Ferrari. Rosberg must be preoccupied with the fact that his wife’s due date’s come and gone but no baby!

  4. Doesn’t look like it’s gonna rain during the race. Pity.

  5. BTCC this weekend too, so much motorsport goodness :-)

  6. Has anyone seen a schedule or listing of who is streaming the practices?

I hate to be that guy, but you’ve got the FP1 session starting at 10am. I think it should be 9am ?
