  1. I wonder what will happen with the Alonso/Massa investigation. He also went way outside track limits to get around Sainz.

    That being said… It was marvelous to see Fernando with that fire in his belly.

    1. looking at the race, outside of the track is the normal racing line…

      1. Which is laughable, and once again shows that Whiting simply isn’t competent to do his job any more. Why do we have a rule book if we pick and choose each weekend or even based on who is our favorite driver whether the rules will be enforced or ignored?

        Alonso in particular was racing on a different circuit to everybody else, regularly going 2-3 car widths beyond the track limits for lap after lap, and gaining an advantage from doing so.

        If the track limits are wrong, grind off the lines and paint them in the correct place. Don’t just ignore the rules, Whiting. DO YOUR JOB!
