As was expected the Monaco Grand Prix was a straightforward one-stop affair for most drivers.

The only drivers who made more than one stop were mostly those who picked up punctures or took advantage of the Safety Car period to put fresher tyres on.

Lewis Hamilton’s sole pit stop was the quickest of the race and thanks to that he only lost one place, to Carlos Sainz Jnr.
