  1. Pleased for Rosberg to finally do it, and it will make Abu Double a more exciting battle hopefully, with more even chances.

    1. Not to forget Massa, who did a fantastic job to get 3rd.

  2. Perfect weekend for Rosberg. the problem is that’s not enough yet. We will see something weird happen in Abu Dhabi though.

    1. Williams was just a mess. Massa did well though. Bottas lost too much. Button capitalized others’ mistake well.

  3. What happened to Bottas? He just did a Felipe better than Felipe.

  4. Wow, Kimi has made much better job than Alonso! Brilliant!

    1. If not for that pitstop fail, I think he would’ve finished ahead of Fernando

      1. Perhaps even in front of Jenson or Vettel.

      2. @njoydesign
Well, I was so angry because of that pit, so I hit and kicked my wardrobe:-)
Kimi has done Fernando fair and square this time.

        1. @slava

Just shows it’s too early to write Kimi off, as many rushed to. He does well when he’s comfortable with the car

      3. It would have made no difference. Alonso had fresher tyres due to his 3 stop strategy compared to Kimi’s 2. In the end Alonso would have easily made up those 5 seconds Kimi probably lost.

        1. No, Kimi lost to Fernando only 1,7 sec in the last several laps.

    2. I’m a massive Kimi fan but your comment is, in the nicest possible terms, wrong. Kimi did well under difficult circumstances but Ferrari were definitely giving both drivers the best opportunity this race and Kimi lost. Although Kimi may have lost due to curcumances out if his control (poor start?) he still lost.

Fernando can extract more out of this car than Kimi can

      1. Kimi did well to make his 2 stops strategy work ….but Alonso was was just a little bit faster and I think he would’ve got kimi even without kimi’s unlucky pit stop… People who think kimi blew alonso away must rewatch the race … Kimi was closer to Alonso but still a bit slower

      2. Dd42 – actually, there is no logic in your comment. Try more hard.

  5. Rosberg deserves to be DOTW for Brazil. But if Lewis wins it again, I’m sorry but it will just confirm bias in my opinion. I know I’ll get hate, but hey, we have Freedom of Expression in all constitutions.

    1. IMO everyone who voted for Hamilton last week should definitely vote for Rosberg this time. But I’m pretty sure Rosberg won’t even be in the top 3…

      1. I’ll vote for him. Well deserved IMO

    2. @mashiat @diceman completely agree with you. Especially as Hamilton threw it away for himself by spinning.

    3. Hamilton should not get it that is right, but Ros? Ill give it to Hulk, Ros was lucky to win that is the fact he was not faster today.

    4. Seeing as its DOTW, and not DOTR I agree Rosberg should win it, but can you honestly imagine Rosberg doing what Hamilton did today if it was the other way round? Coming back from over 7 seconds behind at one point to harry Nico right to the end of the race. Yes Lewis made the mistake, yes it was his fault he didn’t win but his pace was better than Rosberg’s during the race.

      1. @debaser91 But the pace is no good if you can’t win, and spin off. Nico did a more solid job, even in the race.

      2. Lewis closing that gap should not be surprising given hwo he was pushing flat out while Nico was managing them.

Watching there in-car cams on sky that whole stint Lewis was closing Nico was doing lift & coast & was obviously pushing well below the limits to manage everything.

    5. Really? It’s Button or Vettel for me – the only two drivers who seemed decisively ahead of their teammates in both qualifying and the race.

      1. @vettel1 Although to be completely honest Ricciardo had to retire, so we don’t know if he would have found something to beat Vettel.

        1. True, but he was a good few seconds behind and a couple of places back @strontium.

    6. I think there is high chance Rosberg will win, but not with as high percentage as Hamilton would had the roles be reversed…

    7. @Mashiat I’ll be voting for him. He topped every session and survived the pressure from Lewis admirably. I still don’t like him, but I’m more than willing to ackowledge his performance this weekend.

  6. I hope Abu Double it’s not a farce.
On this championship I’m on Hamilton’s side, and, after he missed the opportunity to win this one, losing in Abu Dhabi the WDC would be a complete ……..!

Yeah, it’s crazy. As good as Rosberg was this weekend Hamilton would have had him all ends up if not for his mistake due to tyre deg. To make up almost 7 seconds on the sister Merc was phenomenal.

Almost hoping for a boring last race with little incident!

    2. At least the gap is less than 25pts.

That means that if something crazy does happen to lewis & he dnf’s & nico wins it would not have been the double points that decided things. that was my biggest concern the gap been more than 25 which woudl have meant only double points could decide things.

One way of looking at it I guess. Trouble is, any other year, Lewis could afford to finish lower and still be comfortable.

If Nico wins the last race, Lewis MUST finish in 2nd to take the title. Given Mercedes performance, this would be the minimum expected, so in my view, the only way Nico will win the title will be due to an unforeseen circumstance, and that will be down to the double points system.

  7. Even though I am a Lewis fan, have to give Rosberg credit this weekend. Great drive. Unfortunate that Lewis screwed up ans spun off which costed him victory.

    1. I think the team got excited and told him to stay out for one more lap.
