  1. Will they be releasing any onboard footage? *cross fingers*

    1. @scuderiavincero Judging by the number of cameras stuck to his car I suspect so!

    2. I would love to see how he tackled the Karussell in the W02!

      1. Footage! Lovely lovely footage!!! I get this tingling feeling everytime I await the Monaco GP, only this time it’s for the Nordschleife. Merci @keithcollantine!

  2. [Insert timely joke about the degradation of the tires here]

    haha

    1. Something along the lines of, the reason they didn’t do a complete lap was due to tyres? lol

      1. Or the reason it was such a slow lap was because they had to stop & change tires every few turns.

        1. Haha spot on.

  3. The nordschleife is actually 20.8km @Keith collantine. The pictures show he drove the combined circuit, used for the 24 hour race.

    1. @fangio85 They actually started at the 2nd corner (of the combined circuit, meaning the switchback immediately after the first corner) and ended the lap half way up the Döttinger Höhe.

      1. Yeah, like I said. My point was more about the article saying he drove the nordschleife and it was a 25km circuit. Like I said, just being picky lol :)

  4. ^- sorry for being picky lol. I would love to see the footage!

  5. He is in a great shape… should he be racing again in F1?

    1. Still hope so!!! I´d really love that, He´s at very good pace and still has the flame of driving and velocity !! If not we can see the recorded races and notice again the excellent driver was … who knows what happen in 2014 ?? ;)

  6. @icemangrins, schumacher has always been a great athlete. Look at those guns! I would put my money on schuey over any current driver in a fist fight lol :)

    1. @fangio85 Sutil doesn’t use his fist, harharhar

  7. would have been much more interesting if he did this in his prime at ferrari, this all seems boring and utterly pointless, unless he drove quick which he didnt.

  8. I know it use to be part of the World Sportscar Championship in the 1980s but was it still a round of it when Schumacher was driving the Sauber Mercedes entry?

  9. I knew it was going to be a slow, sad lap, and indeed it was. They should let him spend all day warming up and getting a feel for each corner, then give him some fresh tires and let him actually go for a quick lap.

Sabine Schmitz driving the Ford Transit on Top Gear was far more entertaining.

    1. That transit lap was awesome! :D
