Nelson Piquet Jnr looks increasingly unlikely to finish the season with Renault. Rumours have intensified since the Hungarian Grand Prix that he will be replaced at the team by Romain Grosjean. And details have emerged of a row between Renault boss Flavio Briatore, the driver, and his three-times champion father:

Alonso very light and Button heavy with fuel (Hungarian Grand Prix fuel loads) 25th July 2009, 18:31

Fernando Alonso used a very light fuel load to take pole position for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Behind him, both the Red Bulls are at least 14kg heavier and Brawn’s Jenson Button has 27kg more than the Renault driver. Here are the fuel loads in full:

Webber shrugs off penalty to grab maiden win (German Grand Prix review)

He lost the lead at the start and was handed a drive-through penalty for causing a collision. But that wasn’t enough to stop Mark Webber storming to victory in the German Grand Prix. The Red Bull driver led home a second consecutive one-two for his team while the Brawns struggled to fifth and sixth.
