A minute’s applause in honour of Sid Watkins will take place before the start of the Singapore Grand Prix, the FIA has announced.
The Formula One community has paid tribute to the late Sid Watkins, who passed away on Wednesday.
Professor Sid Watkins, whose tireless efforts to improved safety and medical standards in Formula One and throughout motor racing, has died at the age of 84.
At the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal on 15th June 1997, Olivier Panis’ Prost speared into a tyre barrier, breaking both of Panis’s legs.
