I’m at Jerez for the first day of this week’s four-day test session. Join us as we follow the test live which today will include the unveiling of the Red Bull RB6.
Ferrari look to have made a clean break from their disappointing 2009 campaign after lapping quickest on all three days of the first F1 test. The early signs are BMW Sauber are closest to them on performance, with McLaren not far behind as well.
Today sees the final day of F1 testing at Valencia. Here are some pictures from the test where Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso are among those in action.
Much of the world’s media will be focused on Michael Schumacher’s return to test for Mercedes again today. Nico H?â??lkenberg gets a head-start on his 2010 F1 rivals today as he makes his first testing appearance for Williams since being confirmed as a Grand Prix driver next year. The F1 rookies will be back on track in Jerez today with several new faces joining them including Mirko Bortolotti and Lucas di Grassi.

F1 testing continues at Jerez today with McLaren, Renault, Williams and Brawn GP still at work at the track. Renault were quickest yesterday with Fernando Alonso at the wheel. Will Nelson Piquet Jnr be able to replicate his team mate’s pace today?
Today four F1 teams are scheduled to test in Jerez. Williams, Renault and Brawn GP were all running at the track yesterday, and McLaren will resume work on their troublesome MP4-24.
The first of five days of testing began in Jerez today, with four teams present. But one, McLaren elected not to do any running, and will stay on for an extra day at the end of the test. Brawn GP repeated their form from earlier this week with Rubens Barrichello posting the fastest time.
It’s all change at Barcelona today as most of the teams swap their drivers around for the last two days of official testing before the 2009 season gets started. Lewis Hamilton, Felipe Massa and Robert Kubica are among those joining the test today.
