The second day of action at the Korean International Circuit saw a closely-fought battle for pole position. Several drivers also participated in a ceremony marking the opening of the new track by having casts of their hand prints taken. See below for more pictures from Saturday in Korea.
Felipe Massa blamed traffic after missing out on fifth place on the grid in qualifying for the Korean Grand Prix. Meanwhile the Red Bull duo had a near-perfect end to the session, lapping within a tenth of a second of each other and setting their fastest times in all three sectors on their last laps.
The circuit may be brand new but there’s nothing new about the front row of the grid: Sebastian Vettel leads another all-Red Bull front row. The pair beat Fernando Alonso’s time in the dying moments of Q3 to grab the front row of the grid for the first Korean Grand Prix.

Robert Kubica set the fastest lap of the weekend so far ahead of qualifying for the Korean Grand Prix. The top four teams ended the session separated by less than a tenth of a second as Kubica headed Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber.
