   7 new teams have submitted applications for the 2010 season. They are as follows:

   Campos
   Litespeed
   Lola
   March Racing Organisation
   Prodrive
   Superfund
   Team US F1

   Its unlikely that all 7 teams will be granted entry to next season however with the grid being expanded to 26 slots, at least 3 of them will be there.

   The 2010 entries, apart from the FOTA ones, are these:

   » AT&T WilliamsF1:
   Toyota engine contract in place, alternatively with Cosworth
   » Campos Meta 1:
   possibly running Dallara-designed car, likely with Cosworth engines
   » Prodrive:
   allegedly with Aston Martin-badged customer Mercedes engines
   » Team US F1:
   Cosworth engines confirmed
   » Lola Grand Prix:
   Cosworth engines confirmed
   » Litespeed GP:
   with Mike Gascoyne
   » March Racing Organisation:
   likely with Cosworth engines; perhaps a joint effort with N.Technology
   » Team Superfund:
   with Alex Wurz; Cosworth engines confirmed
   » Epsilon Euskadi:
   with Joan Villadelprat and Sergio Rinland; likely with Cosworth engines
   » Brabham:
   backed by Franz Hilmer of Formtech, and possibly Colin Kolles; acquired the former Super Aguri base; no engine partner announced, but likely Cosworth
   » N.Technology:
   likely with Cosworth engines; perhaps a joint effort with March

    lotus was going to be the trading name of another of the teams (they apparently bought the rights) but they were not put on the shortlist of 2010 entries so…

    SO EXCITED WE HAVE PROPER F1 BACK! GO AUSTRALIA 2010 WITH 26 CARS! WOOPEE!

    This needs updating. BMW are out so sauber may also be unless they can find another engine provider. Massa is not racing again.
