  6. jonnyw360f1 said on 25th June 2009, 19:43

lotus was going to be the trading name of another of the teams (they apparently bought the rights) but they were not put on the shortlist of 2010 entries so…

  7. toyota fan said on 26th June 2009, 18:58

  8. toyota fan said on 23rd July 2009, 17:31

    and webber

  9. ??? said on 31st July 2009, 22:05

This needs updating. BMW are out so sauber may also be unless they can find another engine provider. Massa is not racing again.

  10. toyota fan said on 1st August 2009, 16:38

no massa is not racing for the rest of the season or the next too

  11. Alonso is going to Ferrari. Having a 2010 contract doesn’t mean you are going to be racing for that team, it just means that team is going to have to pay you off.

Massa is staying at Ferrari if fit to race in 2010 otherwise they will keep Raikkonen.

If Raikkonen does leave Ferrari then he will probably go back to McLaren and replace Kovalianen.

Lotus will go to Malaysia. It call 1Malaysia F1 Team.

  13. force india fan(ex toyota fan) said on 17th September 2009, 18:46

    no lotus is lotus… -_-

    • malaysian said on 5th October 2009, 10:58

ehemmm…. lotus owned by malaysian which is proton… the team just use that name because of it is already a big name in f1… the team owned by malaysian company which is for sure was malaysian…… malaysia boleh!!!(malaysia can)

      • Arshy_toyota fan said on 18th October 2009, 13:20

Proton only bought a portion of the old lotus rnd and technology. and If you drive a Proton, you would know that it over steers all the time at any corner, when you try to take it in sport mode. So Proton owning Lotus is not the point, and BTW, the Lotus F1 team has nothing to do with Proton.

can anyone confirm if Timo has the contract for 2010. I hear Toyota is trying to get KIMI in their team. who gets out then…?

  14. I just have two questions, How up to date is this list? and is there really only 5 drivers with 2010 contracts?

  15. My take on 2010 line ups
    Hamilton + Raikkonen
    Alonso + Massa
    Brawn GP
    Button + Rosberg
    Red Bull
    Webber + Vettel
    Kovalainen + Kubica
    Toro Rosso
    Buemi + Alguersuari
    Barrichello + Hulkenberg
    Force India
    Sutil + Liuzzi
    Glock + Trulli
    Wurz + Summerton
    Klien + Davidson
    De La Rosa + Petrov
    Fauzy + Senna
    BMW Sauber (Qaudbak)?
    Heidfeld + Fisichella

  16. Its hard to predit the new teams, as they are not so heavily rumoured.

    Red Bull

    Force India

    Torro Rosso

BMW Sauber(Or whatever they’ll be called)

Heres the rumours for the new teams…

    US F1
    *Jaques Villeneuve
    *Juan Pablo Montoya
    *Danica Patrick
    *Brendon Hartley
    *Scott Speed

My guess is that it will not be Villeneuve or Montoya, probably not Danica either. It may well end up being 2 drivers not mentioned above.

    Campos F1
    *Pedro De La Rosa
    *Jaime Alguesuari
    *Alex Wurz
    *Lucas Di Grassi

    I think:
    De la Rosa+Di Grassi

I have actually heard nothing about this team. Litterally nothing, apart from their entry.

The same goes for Lotus unfortunately.

  17. Dennis said on 2nd October 2009, 11:57

Well Red Bull, Toro Rosso and Ferrari are certain.
    Vettel + Webber
    Toro Rosso
    Buemi + Alguersari
    Alonso + Massa

The other teams have a few certainties but a lot of guesses here.
Hamilton (certain) + Raikkonen ( if not of to go compete in the rally championship)
Hülkenberg (quite certain, really exciting!) + Barrichello (if Button and Brawn Gp can work things out)
    Brawn Gp
Button (almost certain) + Rosberg (rumour, could also go to McClaren but will leave Williams)
Heidfeld + I have no idea
Glock (not certain but seems like it) + Anyone but Trulli, possibly Kovalainen.
Grosjean (not certain but he doesn’t do bad) + Kubica (probably the announcement for next week).
    Force India
Sutil+Liuzzi (no idea about both of them but especially Sutil isn’t doing bad, although he does destroy a few cars more than he should)

The other teams and drivers: no idea.
Some drivers to take into account: Vitaly Petrov, Lucas Di Grassi (excellent Gp2 drivers), Neel Jani ( I think he was talking with one of the new teams, don’t hear much about him anymore), Andy Soucek (possibly Campos??).
