  1. Hi Everyone – looks like many of the comments so far were about the race in the first year. We are going in 2011, but have not yet decided about where to sit. Any input on the best seats, where overtaking may occur, etc. are much appreciated! Going to be there Thursday – Monday. Thanks!

    1. Well I’ve just booked to go, as it’s one of the European ones I haven’t done yet. I’ve taken advice from the folks organising my tour at Motor Racing International. They say that the best grandstand in their opinion is M6 just before the bridge. With the beach right behind it for chilling out on post race or during the day.
Obviously though veiwing is not great on a level circuit going around all those buildings.

  2. Hi all!

A group of us are thinking of going to Valencia this year. We have been to a few other races and usually get general admission tickets as we like to wander around and see the cars from many different parts of the track.

Does anyone who went to Valencia in previous years know if it is possible to do this when buying the Grao Balcony tickets? Obviously on Sat and Sun we will need to be camped there from early on to get a decent seat, but on the Friday will we be able to wander around wherever we like – it’s hard to tell from the ‘official’ circuit info available on the net…

    Thanks in advance!

    Rob

  4. Does anybody know if there were tickets available on raceday last year? In Monaco 2010 there were booths selling the many unsold tickets at reduced prices on the day. I am going to Valencia this year but only intend going to the race on Sunday. I do not want to purchase a 3 day ticket but Sunday only tickets are limited. If you were there last year your advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

  5. Just got up to drive to the airport and it’s off to Valencia. Might even make some of the Friday afternoon action. But then again. Might just sit in a roadside cafe and down a few cold pints on what looks to be a warm weekend.
Hope the new exhaust rules spice things up a bit.
