My all-time favourite F1 car. I can assure you that as a 12 going on 13 year old kid in 1988 it was never boring to stay up late and watch another McLaren domination, with the exception of Monza.
Sadly for me though, I was a Prost fan back then. Senna beat him to the title thanks to a point system that seemed to be designed to hinder rather than help a driver win the World Drivers’ Championship, and didn’t always favor the driver who had scored the most points over the 16 races. Keep your best 11 scores and go from there…..strange way of doing things.
