Had to work on Sunday so was forced to tape all of Bathurst. managed to not find out the result but was a late night.

Absolutely thrilling finish. I truly believe V8 Supercars are the best touring car championship in the world.

@prisoner-monkeys I feel a little perplexed, I have never thought of Tander as “one of the most unlikeable figures in Australian motorsport”. Was actually a big fan of his before he drove for HRT and I can’t stand Craig Lowndes, I could only deal with his recent enduro success because I love Skaifey.

Great result for Percat who I was really impressed with. Ecstatic for Murph on his weekend, Pole and a podium in the twilight if his career. Really disappointed for Reynolds, The Kelly brothers and BJR but was happy for a top ten for D’Alberto.

Another great Bathurst.

I love bathurst and have been watching V8 supercars for longer than formula one. i find bathurst so interesting because of the track which among the best in the world (and is far better than anything formula one races on), the fact that it is so hard to win, the fact that it is so impossible to pick who is going to win, and he fact there is so much more overtaking and close range battling than than formula one. Although i love ford and to me holden is the mortal enemy, i admit that that was an amazing battle at the end and those 2 drivers were absolutely in the zone at the end there, they were lapping a second faster than anyone else in the filed. @Asanator He crashed in the first few laps of his first stint :S unfortunate, but they got the car running again so he got to still have a drive around even if he was 66 laps down. First time someone in a V8 Supercar race has ever been younger than me, sad thought.

I’m a Holden man over Ford anyday but I don’t really see V8 Supercars as a manufacturers championship but as a fantastic teams championship. I know I would much rather many ford teams win over TeamVodafone and PMM. I support certain drivers and teams despite what badge is on the front.
