V8 Supercars could go south of the border in 2013 – the Mexican border (not the Victorian!). Rumours have emerged of a race that could be held one week after the round in Austin, with Hermanos Rodriguez touted as a potential venue:
Michel Jourdain Jnr. likes the idea, and even goes so far as to suggest that local drivers could take up wildcard entries or even replace regular drivers for the Austin and Mexico City races:
Though his idea would only really work for smaller outfits, like Britek and Lucas Dumbrell Motorsports.
