as we left after race 2 many had left but the car park was still farily solid, surface mud but ground quite stiff.

Me @emmadouglas91 and @thescottwilkes faired slightly better making it to the end of the second BTCC before giving into the cold, all 3 of us survived the mud banks too!!

@keithcollantine – You got that right! After just two races it was so cold, I’m sat here now, over 24 hours later, and it feels like my bones are made of ice I’m that cold inside!

Agreed, the races tomorrow should be brilliant whether wet or dry, either way, I dont care anymore, bring on the action! :D

That was an exciting qualifying. The top six cars are all different (Honda, MG, Toyota, Ford, Vauxhall and BMW) and there’s no shortage of cars out of position so I think we’re going to see some good racing tomorrow.

I’ve been to the BTCC at Thruxton every year since 2004 (with the exception of 2007) and it’s been dry every year, guess my luck had to change somewhen! :P
