What a save! Flash is probably the best driver in the BTCC right now, especially as he’s fast and still a clean racer.

Someone else had a very similar slide a few laps later and destroyed the car in the wall on the outside.

@mark-hitchcock Jeff Smith went off in the same place but pretty much wrote off his car. He’ll probably have to have a new car or at least a new shell, Dynamics have another shell at their workshop but my understanding was that was going to the STCC.

That was an amazing save, I was there in the grandstand opposite the pits and when that happened the entire grandstand just gasped, expecting a massive crash like Smith’s, only to see him somehow hold onto it! Probably the best moment of the day for me.
