I definitely think the best looking GT40 is the Mark II rather than the Mk I or IV, although I do like the Mk IV for being completely different, and to me it looks like if it had slightly more aero it would fit into the 70′s quite well, whereas the others look to me more like 60′s prototypes (which or course they are) or later GT cars (although this impression might come from the Ford GT being created as a road car).

But I do prefer the more muscular Mk II. But I think all GT40s are very effected by livery.

These 2 look pretty awful to me, worse than a Mk I in a decent livery.

It’s ungainly, gawky, but I do like the Renault Alpine A442B.

I partly like it because it is a perfect parallel to F1 of the same time, the same reason I like the Alfa 33 TT 12.

And I also love the 330 P3/4. And I’ve come to like the R18. I thought it was a bit ugly at first, but during Le Mans I came to love how aggressive the front is, and if you ignore the very front, from the front of the cockpit back I really to think it’s beautiful.

The only trouble is the ugly fin, but that’s regulation unfortunately. I’d love to see it photo-shopped out.
