Some great footage from Motorsport onboard with Johnny Herbert in a rebuilt Mazda 787B. The video quality isn’t great but the sound is terrific!

I saw this a few weeks ago – lovely, lovely video. Also one of my favourite racing cars of all time, including F1 cars. The sound is something to behold, especially on the downshifts. It was one of the highlights of Goodwood for me this year, when I saw it in the paddock I went all weak at the knees. It’s a proper, proper machine.

that car was beezer, agree with mr thorn, that car is one of my all time favourites too, and a great weekend for the the “johnny herbert wow”
at the time I really regretted not going to le mans that year and have been kicking myself ever since.
I reckon if jh hadnt of had that accident at brands, he would have been world champ and given senna pod a run for his money.

as for le mans, the sbl are raring to go for 2012, flights, rv and tickets all bought

(wow = walks on water)
