Leader catching the back of the field now… Döttinger Höhe straight looks like it has rush hour traffic

I like the track layout they’re using. Skipping the fiddly bit at the start.

The number of right rear punctures happening so far is crazy!

  • Profile picture of Gerdoner Gerdoner said 1 year ago:

    Was about to say that.
But not only the rear punctures is weird, there were quite a lot of crashes in the 1st hour

Subaru is showing onboard footage again
Edit: And the other live streams switched to the static cam showing pit-ou… let’s hope they come back with cut pictures fast (that being said, especially at night there will be long periods of this setup)

except for the lack of overnight tv coverage, this has been a hell of a race

I’m back watching after leaving last night. No idea what’s been going on. The TV coverage has been pretty poor, but at least Radio Le Mans have been great as usual.

Yeh, the static cams are not the perfect solution, but it was better than in the last years.
FYI, here’s what happened over night:

and, more importantly, the live timing here

I don’t understand why they only use static cameras at night. I understand that with a 24 hour race, the camera crews need to rest, but why aren’t they able to have 2 crews that rotate?

They do it at Le Mans every year, show a static camera of the pit lane at night and we end up missing 90% of the night time action.

Ive only just started following the N24 again, hopefully I’ll be able to watch too the end and they stop the blooming static cameras!!
