    Looks a little better in the proper photos. Nose looks a little disjointed though. And that livery works much better on this than the F1 car.

    This car is certainly growing on me, I still think the Audi R18 with it’s Darth Vader appearance looks slightly better though.

    Who’ll be in the second car for Le Mans? Caldarelli, being as he’s their junior? Have read reports about Buemi getting it… and then I’d imagine one of the jobless Peugeot boys: Davidson, Montagny, Sarrazin et al, assuming they don’t have alternative employment by then.

    Hi all,

    Is it me or does this car look a bit underdeveloped like the early Toyota F1 cars. Seems they’ve massively underestimated the level of refinement on the Peugeots and Audis.

    @coefficient Did you read the Racecar Eng article? The photos in particular would imply F1 levels of development and refinement in the aero parts and it’s still many months before it races. Wurz compared its downforce levels very favourably to the 908.

    Great to see they’re sending a second car to Le Mans. Goes some way to making up for the disappointment of losing Peugeot.

    Is it an automatic? Couldn’t see Wurtz flappy paddling in that vid.

    @Spawnite

    I guess the detail is all underneath then. The upper surfaces look a bit plane. Slab sided even. Still, nice looking enough though!

    Alex made it look easy in that video. In fact he looked half asleep at times.

    he is, look again.

    what i think is interesting (other than the whole car) is that paddles are now allowed, as opposed to a stick working the same semi-auto gearbox. also, 4wd being a possibility is a pretty huge change too.

    According to Car magazine, the TS030′s 2012 programme will include Spa, Le Mans and Fuji.

    @F1Yankee: Paddles have been allowed for a long time.
