The search box has been fixed as well – actually it was a little while ago, I just forgot to mention it!

The results page is still a bit ugly-but-functional, I’ll make it look better later.

I’ll post my response here since it is technical. It appears there was a problem with my browser on the flicking of the page to the comments, I have reinstalled firefox and links you provided now work as intended, however, I had to actually “Shift+refresh” to get it to work properly – just in case anyone else has the same problem.

Regarding the @ message feature; those users who are not registered don’t need to get it. What I am trying to say is, make the feature permanent for registered users only (i.e. notify registered user whether they wish it or not). This could then encourage all users to register. Could be as easy as adding an if statement in the code for replies.

If you could tell me more about what type of commenting options you are using or if you could share the code, I could look at it and see if I can modify and upgrade it. Happy to try something.

@keithcollantine – That old problem of the software believing you are someone else has come up again. I can’t post in today’s round-up, because the blog doesn’t recognise that I am signed in (it does everywhere else on the site). When I go to post, the fields for name and e-mail address are automatically filled in; the software seems to think that I am “Ogurka”.

PS – It can be fixed by logging out, performing a forced cache refresh (Ctrl+F5) and then logging back in.
