    Bradley seems to dropped of the face of this planet at the moment, so if @bradley13 doesnt respond to this message by tomorrow at 9am we have to assume that he is experanced some connection downtime or a prior event is happening in his life, so if he isnt online would it be alright if i was host?

    @thespuditron That sucks! :(

    I don’t think we should change the time if not everyone can do it. It’s not really fair. And good question @olliekart , where is @bradley13 ? I’d prefer to know what time the race is tomorrow before we go to bed…

    I have a video that I’ll hopefully get edited before the end of today. Quite revealing, if anything it shows a lot of the problem DOES lie with lag.

    Quite a bizarre race though, on my screen @f199player was 30 seconds behind me and @ed24f1 I lapped about 5 times and was missing a nose cone…

    I started off well. Moss went off and I was up into 2nd behind a VERY laggy f199player. Right before the final chicane he seemed to stop, I hot him knocking parts of ym wing off, Bradley took the lead, I was 2nd, f199 was 3rd. Then apparenttly f199 was backin the lead. Not only that but he kept reapearing everywhere (this happened also in quali).

    Some whatver laps later I was in a good position. Bradley spun wiping my front wing off and sending me into the gravel. This pretty much ruined a race that was looking promising. I felt very compfortable with the car in the rain.

    Everyone pitted for wets. I pitted also. I was stuck behind shane for a few laps. We caught bradley who. I got into a good tow on bradley on the pit straight. I was passed him until annoyingly we made contact for some laggy and shoddy reason. I was sent into a spin knocking my front wing clean off. I continued to the pits, where the morons out me on intermediets. Like seriously wth. I had no where to go but spin. I went back to pit for wets.

    By this time I was no where. I came up to the final chicane where f199′s car quickly teleported there to knock my front wing clean off. I then decided to retire and leave the race.

    I’m not even angry, I just dont even care anymore.

    Filling in for Ollie seemed like a good idea, until I remembered just how this league operated.

    Quali:
    I managed a decent lap of 1:25.9xx on the options, which after being beaten by Moss, put me in second for most of the session. Then F199 went quicker, and eventually Brooksy. I went out with a few minutes remaining to try and beat my time, but in sector 1, a McLaren was running slow on the racing line, so whilst trying to avoid it, I cut the chicane, which ended my attempt already.
    I psyched myself up for another run, and it was going well, I was going faster in sectors 1 and 2, but then a Force India was on the racing line, and I had to adjust my line, which put me into a spin, ending any attempt at improving on 4th.

    Race:
    I was pleased to see the race was wet, just like my F2 race. I knew I could get a better start than I did yesterday, and that my opening laps might be a bit better than most.
    I got a very good start off the line, and was alongside Brooksy and F199, although F199 was pushing me right, which meant I was pushing Brooksy. I backed off a little and made it round the corner, still in 4th, but then I was hit, by a Sauber I think, which put me into a spin, and so I was last.

    I pushed on, and found Moss behind me I think, I was trying to give him space, whilst defending my line, and thankfully didn’t make any contact, but eventually he was through, because I wasn’t quick enough. I think at some point I saw a load of cars spin out, and this put me up to 5th, with the threat of heavy rain on the way in 5 minutes. I did two more laps before pitting for full wets, which was a lap before most I think.

    A few laps later, I was ahead of Moss, but decided to let him through, although I don’t think he noticed that I left the door wide open, because he took a long time to pull the move off. It seemed like a good idea, until I was right up his gearbox for about 2 laps, before he inevitably pulled away.

    The race pretty much ended there, I was in 3rd, with no hopes of catching Moss and F199, unless they had a coming together, and eventually I was about 16 seconds behind Moss and 17-18 seconds in front of Bradley. However, on the penultimate lap, I was about to lap a Force India, but instead of moving out of the way, they stayed on the racing line, and I had nowhere to go, so I lost my front wing, had to pit at the end of the lap, and lost 3rd and 4th.

    I know some of you guys are very fast, but the quality of racing here is much worse in comparison to the F2 league, and I think even if I do promote, I might just stay there, because I enjoy racing them much more than here, because there are far fewer collisions and arguments from the entire season, than you guys have in one race here.

    Finished 8th
    Got a good start like yesterday, overtook 2 or 3 people by T2 but then at T5 got pushed off track (no hard feelings to whoever it was, conditions made it hard) then I was 15 seconds behind Jamie who was 9th, I was staying on his pace but then he must have got last Bradley and I started catching Bradley by just under 2 seconds per lap, got the gap to around 7 or 8 seconds then my team pulled me in, they said on the radio we are putting you on wets, then I saw that they decided to put me on primes -_- that put me at least 40 seconds behind Bradley and ruined any chance of good points lmao. After that I gained a place by someone crashing, Brooky? Then I got lapped by F1player and Moss and was actually keeping pace with Moss, which suprised me :D then I caught Robo and overtook him when he went off (broken front wing I think) then he crashed at the chicane :/ so I was a lonely 8th :P then Jamie came past and I kept up with him reasonably well until something happened to him and he pitted, a lap or two later was the finish :)

    I’m uploading my video now. If I was lagging i wouldn’t be suprised as the Internet in Oxford this week has been shocking.

    So guys (and lady) what were the results? Did Moss resume where he left off or was the race winnable for others this time??? :P

  • Profile picture of JamieFranklinF1 JamieFranklinF1 said 11 months, 2 weeks ago:

    @Olliekart

    1. F199
    2. Moss
    3. ?
    4. Bradley
    5. Me
    6. Ed

    That’s all I know, although it should have been me in 3rd, had it not been for a Force India making me lose my front wing -_-
