Didn’t bother qualifying, because I knew the tyres had to last, and I would have only gained about 3-4 positions anyway.
The race was hard. At the start, I managed to get in front of Shane, but was also stuck behind Abbmacher, whom was quite slow for the first few laps, and without DRS, and me being on low fuel mix, I couldn’t quite get passed. On the third lap, I was right behind him, and going to get the DRS, but then Shane dived down the inside of turn 10 (Which is never really an overtaking place) and knocked me wide, but as I was turning in, the game decided to award me a 10 second penalty. I lost out on the DRS, and even though Shane gave the place back, he was easily able to drag passed me on the straight.
Everyone started pitting a few laps later, which left me in 4th when Brooksy passed me (I tried to give you as much room as possible), with Bradley in 1st. I eventually pitted on lap 14, though I regret not going a lap longer.
I was quite a bit quicker on the options, and started putting in some decent times, even when my tyres were going off. Though, unfortunately on the last lap, my tyres were completely destroyed, and I lost about 6 seconds, and 4th place to David.
Decent race, though I wish I had practiced more :( That was my first full race at Brazil for a long, long time.
Congrats on the victory, Moss :)
