As one of them (two, actually, which I’ll explain if anyone’s interested) will be me, that leaves 15 places.

    Explain please. :)

Damon, you KNOW I was made for this. Count me in! No idea what I’ll be driving as yet, though.

I’ll take the beautiful TWR XJR-9 Jaguar please. And my PSN username is “Chopsman” (I think that’s the right thing, never done this before).

Also, how does one use this BOOST?

Is this a regular racing series, following the F1 tracks on GT5? I’d love to be involved, I have a Sauber C9 that’s really sweet to drive at 700PP, Sadly I’m working on Saturday so I’ll just have to see the results (much like the real race!)

@Chops The boost is automatic, what it means is that when you are not leading, you go faster – and if you’re last for example, you can do lap times 5/10 seconds faster.

You could also call it automatic catch-up.

It is with great sadness that I must confirm I will be unable to take part this year due to unmissable commitments away from my home.

I wish the best of luck (especially with pit stops) to all competitors.

@ed24f1 Ah, thanks. I remember that being in some of the old Need For Speed games.

Also, I’m a little confused. The start time of this event seems to line up exactly with the start of the real race. Not sure if i’ve misunderstood something, though.

    Really looking forward to this!

I think you’ve misunderstood something. The real race traditionally starts mid-late afternoon.

    @chops

The second annual F1F GT5 Le Mans 24 Laps of Le Mans will be held on Saturday, 16 June at 12:00pm British Summer Time (11:00am GMT). This time does not clash with the actual Le Mans 24 Hours

You won’t miss the start of the real race if you’re intending to watch it.

@matt90 @Slr Thanks for the clarification, I am pretty bad at time zones and stuff :P

I’ll make sure I’m on the site a few hours before it starts :)

The 24 Hours starts two hours after this race does.

Our race should take no longer than around 90 minutes.

Still haven’t settled on a car either. :O
