Qualifying:1st
My lap was good enough to be on pole, but definatly not the best I’ve done, which is 18.8 this morning.
Race 1st
I knew Ahmed was gonna give me some presure, so my goal was not to push max, but to maintain gap of 1second+ for a couple of laps we were almost equal until he started making some errors.
I wasn’t 100% consistent but definitely cautious, after Ahmed pitted he made almost 6 seconds from a 32 second gap to 26, I noticed that the cold primes didn’t slow him down, and on the other hand I had no grip left, so I pitted and gap was 9s, Ahmed was closing the gap by .5 of a second per lap, don’t know how much fuel he had but almost every lap the engineer was saying that he was in rich fuel, I had aggressive setup so I couldn’t use rich fuel, and the only way I could was by doing 2 laps of low fuel, to save some extra for the last 2 laps.
When I collided with tea and had a broken left front peace I lost some aero over the corner, there was 2 laps remaining so I changed my fuel map to rich and drove as hard as possible, I had to fight some corners I had no aero on high speed left turns. But main thing is that I didn’t lost positions and won the race.
Tea I wasn’t trying to make big drama out of it, but just for sake of having a fair and good league, when u spin u don’t recover when someone is around, we all do mistakes and I do spin allot too but if I know there’s cars around I wait until its all clear. Just to have a fair season and quality racing. I hope next race in monaco we wont have that problem. Fingers crossed
Today I felt like it was a 100% race, before we started racing I knew I was gonna have a difficult time, I’ve been playing f1 all day long working on my wheel setting and my hands are sore as hell. Lap8 I was saying I think I can’t finish the race, but when Ahmed dropped back I had time to breath and rest.
Dod Ahmed, I must admit he made my race so much more difficult. Good race man. Bradley Idc how many votes others get, Ahmed was flying
