@Alfie just take it faster and faster (in practice) and when you start sliding your hitting the right speeds XD just revert to the line before that

    Qualifying – 4th – Mid 1:21 – Primes

Qualified on Primes my first banker lap was the one that ultimately counted as I made a few mistakes on the later laps, but ultimately pleased (if not slightly surprised) to be fourth and first on the Prime runners.

    Race – 4th

Got a pretty bad start and caught up in the usual chaos at the first corner, have no idea who hit me from behind but ended up last coming out of the first corner (fortunately wing in tact). Managed to catch up the group of 4 cars in front after they were squabbling around T3 by turn 4, Saw Sozavele run wide and just managed to avoid him rejoining and watched him wipe out @abboracing. managed to nip past the two cars ahead as they were also squabbling and was happily closing down the next bunch of cars when I was swiped by a Sauber returning to the track. Don’t know who it was, doesn’t really matter. Was back another 3 or so places but managed to set some pretty quick and consistent times passing various cars as they had incidents of their own during the race and ended up spending laps 15-20 chasing down @sirspuddington. Caught and passed him just before the pit stop ad came out in what was ultimately 3rd. was doing some good clean runs then had a semi-spin with 7 or 8 laps to go which put @JamieFranklinF1 close to me, he was pretty quick, but I could match him quite happily, a few slight errors and he was on me, tried a couple of times in the DRS zone but I was just about able to defend and then on the 3rd try he tagged me going into T1 into a semi spin. @JamieFranklinF1 graciously waited and let me past again however my rear tyres had over-heated in the spin and wouldn’t cool down, resulting in a spin later on in the lap going into the chicane which let @JamieFranklinF1 through and after that it was just about getting to the end on a shagged rear set which let @sirspuddington get close towards the end and @JamieFranklinF1 get away. Ultimately 4th was all I could do after the leaders got too far away at the start, but not too bad a recovery drive.

@asanator I figured you had low fuel or shredded tyres or something but sadly my last corner lock up caused me to lose like two seconds and get lapped

@afroholic Hasn’t been updated in a while, but here is the page:

Though I don’t have access to the Wiki, the standings are as follows: (This is the best I could do, since I couldn’t find all of the Hungary results. I don’t know who came seventh. I have a feeling it could have been @Brooksy007 so I will award him the point until further notice. I can’t remember if @RagingInferno raced or not…Perhaps it was Abbmacher?)

    Driver’s Championship
    1. Jamie Franklin – 24
    2. Moussa Awada – 18
    3. Ahmed Hussen – 14
    4. Oli Peacock – 10
    5. John Brookfield – 10
    6. Tom Robson – 9
    7. Alfie Widger – 6
    8. Andew Angus – 5
    9. @Sato-113 (Hasn’t posted his name) – 4
    10. Harry Westwood – 4
    11. George Angus – 3
    12. Bradley Downton – 3

The rest have yet to score.

    Constructor’s Championship
    1. Lotus – 31
    2. Ferrari – 28
    3. Caterham – 14
    4. Sauber – 14
    5. Mercedes – 9
    6. Red Bull – 8
    7. McLaren – 6
    8. Williams – 0

Back to Monaco though. I honestly don’t see how anyone could get a 1:12 in Monaco (Not on TT). Even on a clean lap, I can’t make it close to that time, unless there is something I’m missing…
