A NEW SEASON DAWNS…

The 2012 season will go down as one of the greatest seasons yet in its short history, as @shaneb0123456789 snatched the title from season favourite @MoSs-611, who was let down by a horrible spate of engine issue’s as the season passed onto to its new 2012 format, and duly passed on his crown to his new succeeder. However, this winter’s title battle has blown open, as the 2012 champion has had withdraw on educational issues, and a new batch of fresh faced racers are ready to put manners on the seasoned regulars.
This seasons calendar starts in Australia and as we travel the globe we come across many favourites, including Brazil, Monaco and Canada, while finishing off the season in style at Abu Dhabi. The 7 round calendar though had to be curtailed from its original 15 rounds as the season clashed with fellow series The Collantine Cup.
This season will see many new and returning face’s to the series such as @shyguy1992 @olliekart @alfie and the series first female racer, @tayzz94 . The new driver line-up proves to be an exciting one as last years winner and 2012 runner up, @moss-611 , teams up with long time teammate @brooksy007 . They move to Ferrari, after this years late season calamities in the McLaren. In the Red Bull, we have @assantor and @abboracing , both who have proven to be able to challenge to podium on several occasions and posssible Constructors Championship challenger here. In McLaren we have season returnee @Robocat and along side him GP2 graduate and runner-up @alfie , this blend of experience and youth should make McLaren a strong bet for the Constructors championship.
In Lotus we will have the experienced duo of @jamiefranklinf1 and @bradley1314 , the joint runners of the series. @jamiefranklinf1 proved a lot in back end of the season and was one of the highest scoring drivers, one to look out for with reliable @bradley1314 ready to pick up the pieces :P Next up in the Williams are the dark horse’s of the Winter Series as both @shyguy1992 and @f199player are proven race winners, but both will need to up their constancy if their to have a shot at putting together good campaigns.
In the Caterham we have dynamic duo of @olliekart and @tayzz94. Both have a lot to prove for the up coming season after strong GP2 campaigns, where @tayzz94 picked up the first female podium ever for the series in Valencia and then again in Brazil. Both have had good pre-season testing and should be in a good shout to upset the Ferrari’s, Red Bulls and McLaren’s. Finally we have rookie pairing of @raginginferno and @david_jv in the Mercedes. @raginginferno won the inaugural GP2 season and should be good bet podiums, @david_jv ‘s partipation is in doubt after going missing 2 weeks ago.
We should expect great racing to come with these fine 14 drivers and with some new faces we could see a new order established. All we can say is, We’ll find out in Australia in 2 days time….
