Ok, so we now have just two spaces left. @RoboCAT has told me he shall get back to me tomorrow regarding whether he can race or not, and we are still awaiting a response from @Asanator.

I am also going to see if any of the other guys from the Collantine Cup would be up for racing. I will fill this grid yet! I’ll also see if I can find someone to drive the Ferrari for the few races that Shane cannot make, though I am hoping @shyguy1992 might be able to do this?

Tredrea enters Formula 1™ with Goatcorp-Marussia deal.

Marussia have confirmed Ryan Tredrea as their second driver alongside Luke Pickering. Entering their first season in the premier championship, Marussia are confident their new signings will provide a solid base with which to work with.

We are very happy to welcome Ryan to our team, Having raced with Luke in other series’ we are confident they will have a strong working relationship which will enable us to be competitive in our first season. We are also overjoyed to have the support of Goatcorp for the season ahead. Goatcorp Marussia Cosworth are eagerly awaiting their first race in the main game.

Ryan is said to be extremely pleased with the deal, and addressed the concerns of pay drivers he has brought with him.

Formula 1 has always had pay drivers, and now is no different. Goatcorp has supported me throughout my career and I am extremely happy we have reached the premier championship together. There is no doubt I have to perform, Marussia have entrusted me in their first season and I intend to repay them with results. It will be difficult no doubt, the competition are incredibly talented, but they don’t just let anyone drive these things.

@bradley13 May I correct you, the choice is Mercedes or Lotus, @alfie and @sato113 are at McLaren.

Also @bradley13 When cover is arranged for Shane, would it be appropriate for that person continue to cover the 3 races I have to miss which I outlined above.

I won the F2 championship and still haven’t driven for Ferrari *puts hipster glasses on* it’s too mainstream.
