I think last time it was just based on who chose which car, though I think in the past if someone high in the standings wanted a certain person as their team mate, and the other driver agreed, then they could both take the car. Bradley will have to confirm this though.

I had a cheapo one for my XBOX. Broke. After I while I hopped to PS3. Got a cheapo wheel. It broke. -_- Need a real bad-ass muthaducka wheel haha looking out for a DFGT or something

@sirspuddington The DFGT seems to be one of the most popular wheels at the moment, and for good reason – I love mine! The pedals aren’t that good though, the brake pedal on mine is kaput so I’m hoping to get another set :/

Yeah the DFGT is popular because its cheap and easy to find. To find high-end wheel like mine you need to look abroad for example mine came from Germany

I’ve got a DFGT…I don’t think it’s all that great with the F1 games. I preferred the Thrustmaster F430 I had for about a day before the brake pedal went.

I’ve only been using a wheel (and therefore TC/ABS off) since the 2012 game came out, and it’s difficult to tell if you’re quicker, but it’s certainly more immersive/enjoyable.

Its hard to say as ive never had any other wheel, its cost is 200 euro’s inc VAT and Shipping. The real bebfit is in the pedals tho, not included. If you were to brake it down i would say:

DFGT: Wheel – 5.5 Pedals – 4
GT3 RS – Wheel – 7 Pedals – 9

Supposedly, Clubsport pedals are the best on the market but at 200 euros alone they are VERY expensive. I think the default pedals are 70 euro’s.

The DFGT is the only wheel I’ve ever owned, so I can’t really comment. The wheel worked great for 2010 and 2011, but for 2012, I don’t like how you reach a certain steering point and then the wheel keeps turning, but the car doesn’t. I might give it another go, to see if I can get some laps under my belt with it and get used to it, but it’s very annoying!
