i agree with jamie. I would play F1 2006 on PS2 24/7 in 2008 when Sony Europe Entertainment made the game. Since the start of Autumn (Spring for UK), I’ve looked at F1 2012 as a bit dull, so much so that I prefer MW2 and AFL Live (Australian Football League, worth the livstreams :p) and Im not practising anymore, not hosting many lobbies (except for a few midweek), and I (using a normal controller) am just too quick with all these setups. 5 Laps practice on my weak tracks (Singapore, China, and especially Monaco) with setups from Ben, and I’m on Pole by a second on Legend comfortably.
I also reckon the Mid Year Championship(s) altogether dont work well. We’ve had the chance by the time F1 2014 kicks off next March, and by then, everyone will know this, that, and eventually get bored like some of the members here. I havent seen the ways guys in the ARL run it, so i’m not going to go there, but if i had to pick, I’d wish i was in the F1F XBox Comp. They are consistently getting 10+ drivers per race with no real hassle.
I’m still going to race here though as there are some fantastic people here and I feel sorry for everyone who manages to get themselves prepped up for a 90 minute session to find out only 5 others are participating. And I’m the 15 yr old F1 Fanatic who feels like he got hit by the worst earthquake.
Apologies if this doesn’t make any sense what-so-ever, but I think we need to get more well-known so we can get more racers, more entertainment and most importantly, more fun.
This goes back to the time a few weeks back i proposed the idea we have our own website, and post it on as many Motorsport Forums we can find
Maybe we could do that for the Winter Season or even on the F1 2013 Game
