Is it possible to change a thread title because we’d have to change it then.
I’m thinking something like:

The f1fanatic Xbox Cup [f1 2011] (beginning [date])

Then maintain the first post with new info/entrants etc. like the Collantine cup

Im not able to change the thread title as I didnt start it.

But yeah I was thinking of calling it something along those lines.. didnt want to go ahead and just create it until I got your response first.
