@Strunk27 I more than likely did brake late, I will never intentionally rear end someone as it underhanded and ruins the general fun of this championship.

@Lt Alred No worries, we were on the same boat, going from a decent position to fighting to get into the top 20 to salvage something from the weekend. Yeah I must admit a few of my moves were a tad ambitious half the time I felt I had the speed to do the over take (which wasnt the case it seems)

I agree with @ljkobrien aka Alfred. I’m happy to protest as well if people aren’t happy with the current situation. Still pissed off about it this afternoon.

@powderfinger can you get back to me ASAP please..

@MadDogMolloy I have made the choice not to protest while I was very angry yesterday in the heat of the moment, I’ve mellowed out somewhat, and I too have had my own collisions especially in Oz. What i would say is that hopefully there is a lot more fairness and space given between drivers, as this series really does have the potential to be something awesome.

@Kvothe If I span you at turn two I apologise. By the time I saw you coming out the pits I had already been pushed off the track twice by the toro rosso of El Timuel and was probably driving more aggressively than I should have been. Did you come out of the pits to meet with me and the two torro rosso cars also?

Right… Some of you aren’t going to like what I’m about to say.

I have had a large number of complaints regarding various incidents over the course of the two races. I feel like it has gone a little too far and I am looking to stamp it out before it gets a lot worse. Of course there are going to be incidents – its racing! But Its more to do with the lack of respect a number of drivers are showing. I have received reports of:

1. Drivers not giving others the required ’one car width space’ between themselves and the edge of the track.

2. Drivers seemingly going off the racing line to drive others off the circuit (and in some instances – the wall).

3. Drivers braking too late and using others as brake boards.

4. Drivers who have had made an error, coming back onto the racing line to block an opponent.

Not only have there been complaints but I have witnessed and even been involved in a few of the incidents others have mentioned. It is unacceptable and will not be tolerated from now on.

Warnings will be going out to a number of drivers via private message tonight. These drivers have persistently done much of what has been reported above.

To do this, some may need to accept my friend request as I cannot sent you a message otherwise.

If I receive ANY abuse, backchat or accusations that they are in the wrong in response to these messages- you WILL be automatically thrown out of the championship!

If you do not accept my friend request so I can send you a message – I take that as preventing my message getting to you and you WILL be thrown out of the championship.

I would be grateful, If in response to my message you could accept your warning and acknowledge your part in the incidents that have played out.

If those drivers who I send warnings to, break the rules again – they WILL be thrown out of the championship. Zero tolerence!

It might sound like what im saying is really harsh but it has got to this stage really quickly and requires urgent action. It is ruining the fun and enjoyment for the majority of the drivers. It shouldn’t have to be like this. We all love the sport and competing against one another in this series.

Im really shocked as we had just the ONE incident the whole of last season! The whole season! We’ve had over a dozen already!!!

I hope people understand fully what I’m trying to do here. I’m trying to put the interests of the championship first and would like to protect its integrity. Not only does it ruin things for us, This whole thing puts off potential new drivers looking in!

The rules regarding protests aren’t working so I will be looking to change them. I’ll let you know about any changes that are made.

After I’ve sent these warnings, I want to call an end to this issue as I don’t want it to affect the rest of the season.

I will post my video of the race up as soon as it is uploaded. Hope everyone has a pleasant evening/afternoon!

Just watched @Daniel Owen’s video, sorry to @ms20 by the looks of his vid I forced you off the track on the first lap or two on the back straight, on my connnection I was already a full car length ahead when I moved over (you can even we me check before I move over in my vid)
Also apologies to @Daniel Owen himself, looks like some of the points where I thought you were being aggressive were due to connection issues and me being at different points of the track on my own connection and on yours, for instance turn 1 of lap 4 (I think) on my view you hit into the back of me and almost put me in the gravel trap at the back of the run off, in your vid you’re ahead of me. Was fun to watch our fight through the field at the start from another perspective though

@Lt Alred No worries, Like I will admit I was a tad over aggressive on the first on the first lap I mean looking at both yours and mine I’d be the first to admit it.
Yeah I did enjoy our battle throughout the race. Im surprised I finished so high but at the end it was the other driver’s tyres giving way that helped a lot

@ljkobrien My connection atm is fairly awful so whatever my car was doing from other peoples perspective wasn’t what I was seeing – if that makes sense.
I’m going to try and find where the issue is (although I suspect it’s with BT since nothing else has changed)

@maddogmolloy if people dont respond to the friend requests it might be worth sending them a message on xbox too, the noticifation system on F1F isn’t very obvious and i’ve not noticed notifications until sometime after they were given before now
