@coefficient Please see McWoblins post above. I’ll make sure you are added in next time.

@eltimuel @thevortex See McWoblins post – For your information.

@thevortex Great I’ll add you to the wiki later. We have a full grid for the first time :-) if any other drivers join, they will be placed on reserve and if anyone is absent will take their place in a race. I can’t see all 16 of us at the same race so the chances of this happening are quite high.

Also @everyone please use @maddogmolloy as @ kyle is someone else.

Driver of the day – Lemon! My reasons are on the previous page.

DOTD – I would guess it has to be Lemon, winning the race, having had to fight back from the middle of the pack after a first corner incident.

    Well done!

Its been so long since the race its hard to remember back what happened. Qualifying was a disaster as i was on the back row, really struggled in the wet.

Race made a good start and got well up but got spun after the chicane where all the trouble was on lap 1 and that was me down to last place. Managed to fight back up through the field by doing a backwards strategy a few few DQ’s helped me well into the points. Good solid start in a race with plenty of the front runners.

Just finished My first Test session ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix and I am Lapping at the mid 1:30′s Which is almost 3 seconds faster than how I was Lapping on the default settings.

On Another Note I should have my Australian GP up later I have not been at home to upload it.

Going to start testing this evening for China… 1:30s seems pretty pacey though…

  • Profile picture of Infernikus Infernikus said 12 months ago:

Chances are the McLaren pair will be faster. I have noticed I have great Qualifying pace but I am behind when it comes to Race pace. I think it is more down to me being too cautious as I dont want to Anger any of the other drivers/Stewards

  • Profile picture of infernojim infernojim said 12 months ago:

Lol. i need to go down the don’t anger the stewards route methinks!

  • Profile picture of Infernikus Infernikus said 12 months ago:

Ha Im still surprised I had an incident free race weekend in Melbourne. I reckon the Stewards are waiting for me to come first before handing me a DSQ in that race for some obscure reason

Race weekend in Melbourne all uploaded

    @Daniel Owen

Just had an initial practice at China… gah, such a frustrating track to drive! Haven’t gone on options yet, managed 1:32.9 on Primes, and that wasn’t anywhere near a clean match, the first corner is soooo horrible!!

Aiming to shave a couple of seconds off with combo of shoving on the options and practice, before Monday night… we’ll see though…

@Infernojim I want to maybe hit the low 1:30′s if I can. I cannot for the life of me get any more speed out of my car without sacrificing the tires which I feel cost me 4th place in Melbourne as I had a huge lack of grip on the last lap.

Testing update. With tweak to set up and the soft tyres I’ve managed to sneak into the late 1:30s. best of 1:30.888s. Reckon there’s another few tenths to be found but not much.

The good news is that its not a track with much “corner cutting” risk!

I fear a wet race though as much of my career practice was spent on a the full wet tyre – can’t say i love my wet setup either….
