Well that was a complete disaster for me :( Started in in 10th with a 137.2 in qualifying which had been the quickest lap I had set all week. So the race started and i seemed to make a good start whereas MadDog seemed to be really slow so i shot up the outside of him. Carried on up to turn 1 and the game said i had received a penalty for causing a collision. As far as i was aware i hadn’t made contact with anyone but suspect it was lag on the game which would account for MadDogs apparent slow start. If i did make contact with anyone apologies . Got to turn 1 and still a bit bewildered by the penalty made contact with someone and went off. Got going again and as braked to turn in for turn 11 someone hit me from behind and i went off again. So down to last place i carried on but seem to really struggle for grip so ended up pitting about lap 7 with completely knackered tyres. Carried on until about lap 20 when our teenage kids thought it would be good fun to knock the snot out of each other so i had to park up and leave the wheel. Guessing that would be why the game flagged me as disqualified. Hoping for better luck in Bahrain next week

Feeling goodfor next week! I’ve managed to dial straight in to Bahrain, and in the 1:33s on Options. From looking at set up forums I know that a 1:30 or 1:31 is going to need to be got to be near the @lemon‘s of this world, but feel confident that I can get within 1.5 to 2 seconds of the pace next week. I’m aiming for a top 8 finish next week now! 10th is getting boring!

Race went alright but the bigger problems came afterwards. My router died minutes after i disconnected so i may not be around on monday @MadDogMolloy i will send you a message on XBox live when im back in action

After an interesting first three races we’re off for our first trip to the desert. Jonny’s win last week meant Lemon’s 14 race winning streak has come to an end. Will he be back on top in Bahrain? Or will Jonny continue his form and take the fight to his McLaren team-mate? Will we have a clean first corner for the first time this season? Let us know if you can’t make it! @mrgrieves hope your router is ok mate?

Now better late than never, here are my videos of the first two races. First up Malaysia…

The most interesting part of the race is the start – I have a front row seat for the chain reaction in front of me. Well worth a look if you were unsure what happened! This is followed by a mental scrap between me, odin and dazaarcher. The next two videos aren’t as interesting but they do show how I react to the changes in the weather.

Then we have the Chinese GP. Again intersting view of the start. I manage to move through the field as others fall off – notice the wet track and the drying line? or is it just me? Manage to keep Lt Alfred behind me for a lot of laps before my mistake! My fight with strunk in the 2nd and 3rd video are quite enjoyable too!

I think I already now have 4 races I definitely won’t be attending, which will therefore by default be my dropped scores.

December 17th – have to travel home as have a work commitment near there on 18th.
February 4th, 11th and 18th – on holiday in Burma! (I only get back on 22nd Feb, so there is a risk that I will miss 25th as well, but hopefully not).

Bad times.

Qualified 4th with the time from my first run, could have gone faster but couldn’t string the lap together.
The start was messy I was side by side in 2nd before the left kink then got nudged and slid a little but managed to hold on to third. I passed Odin after a bit then the rest of the race was building and maintaining gaps to people behind – apart from Jonny passing after a long chase some time around lap 20 I think.

Had my best race this year. Qualifying i was briefly as high as 5th but couldn’t improve on my first run and slipped to 7th.

Got a poor start and @MadDogMolloy got passed me.

Was cautious on outside of turn 1 but got caught up with my teammate who got a nudge from one of the red bulls which clipped him into a half spin which i couldn’t avoid. Then i went through a ghosted force India and was running in 8th.

I then ran consistently and caught @mcwoblin and unfortunately very slightly touched him in the breaking zone for turn 4. Sorry @mcwoblin although i don’t think it lost u much time.

I had various great battle throughout the race with @MadDogMolloy, @mrgrieves, @darrenarcher and especially johnny705 who we passed and passed a few times which was great fun!! I have video of about 80% of the race and will upload in 2 parts tomorrow…

Dotd @ms20. Consistent performances.

1st point is i want to appeal my 10 second penalty. had a video but it was damaged while trying to upload but @MadDogMolloy will be uploading his video when he gets a chance.

My argument is i took the corner then as i accelarated onto the straight @odinsrevenge had already span by himself in front of me and i had nowhere to go to avoid him. This cost me 3 places as i would have been 4th rather than 7th.

My race. Started 11th as the last 3 places were occupied by Darrens for perhaps the first time anywhere in history! I Finally got a good start after 3 races where i ended at the back. Decided to try and stay in the middle and to get a good line for turn 2 and someone ahead span and took out a heep of drivers leaving me up to 5th. Had a short battle with @odinsrevenge before he span, then @MaddogMolloy, and @Infernojim till they pitted leaving me racing after @ms20 for 2nd till my pitstop. After pitting for the options i expected to challenge jonny who was flying through the field and MS20 however i had no answer to there late race pace and had to settle for 4th. Tried to keep the gap to 5th to 10 seconds to try and avoid having to appeal but made a mistake on the last lap while left me down to 7th with the penalty

@lemon as agreed to sit on the panel for @mrgrieves and his penalty. @mcwoblin @strunk27 @ljkobrien could any 2 of you 3 help lemon with this? I can’t be involved as I benefited from his penalty although I’ll upload the video I have – it happened right in front of me. Should have it up tomorrow evening if all goes well.

It uploaded first time.. That’s a bit of luck. @lemon @strunk27 @ljkobrien might be best if you set up a private message conversation, look at the video and come to a decision. It’s on lap 2, turn 8 I think..

For the rest of you – This video shows my race up until my pit stop. I made a good start beating @infernojim and @strunk off the line. Nearly got caught up in the melee at turn 1 although got knocked slightly by Kevin I think.. Managed to pass @dazzaarcher when he made a mistake and passed both @cscottyf195 (Odin) and @mrgrieves (y2j) when they came together. Lap 2 and I was 3rd chasing down @ms20.

I turned my engine up to try and catch him. I maintained the gap for a lap or two but he managed to pull away. Y2j was catching and we had a mega battle for a few laps. Went side-by-side and repassed once or twice but I was vulnerable on the main straight with his drs. Kept making small errors which allowed @jonny705 and @infernojim to catch up. My tyres were wearing badly and I had both on my rear wing so decided to pit for primes a lap earlier than usual – they would both pass me on the straight with drs anyway.

The rest of the race was quieter although I’ll upload the videos when I can. I used far too much fuel in the first 10 laps so was fuel saving for the remaining laps. @jonny705 got ahead of me after his stop and y2j appeared in front of me after his stop a lap later although with my fuel problems I wasn’t able to fight him. I had @infernojim chasing me and he managed to get me a few laps from the end when I had to switch from standard fuel mix to lean. It was like a time trial… He somehow would manage to find a few tenths every lap and kept chipping away until he caught me. Kevin was catching me on the last lap but managed to keep him behind me. Finished 6th (5th after penalty).

DOTD- @mrgrieves for his pace and the close and clean racing we had.. Unlucky with the penalty..

For the fourth week, not a very good race for me again. Hadn’t had much practice on the track over the week and had a last minute lapping in time trial. Got a good start from 9th position and ended up in 2nd place. Lap 2, I was overtaken by two drivers and span the car on the following turn. Due to various controller faults i had spun out multiple times during the race ( greatest apologies to Lt Alfred for colliding with you). And from then on i was in 13th place, and frustratingly disconnected from the lobby.
