@powderfinger Sorry, I was on dry tyres on a wet track as I forgot to select intermediates from the dpad menu whilst entering the pits the previous lap. I had no grip and had to brake so far in advance to avoid sliding straight on – Didnt realise you were there. sorry about that! :-(

It’s OK^^, I just didn’t know what you were doing and the difference in speed just made it impossible for me to avoid you. After all we were both lucky not to receive a penalty^^.

Fun race but messed up on the last few laps. Was knocked on the first corner and came out 7th from starting 2nd.
At the end I stayed on the wets for longer than Lt Alfred then lost a tonne of time on the 1st corner.
I put on options when I pitted as the track seemed to be trying and I had a 40 second lead over daza in 4th but I lost well over a minute sliding around.
Pitted again on to inters and came out just behind Maddog but went ahead with his penalties.

    Lap 26: 2:10
    Lap 27: 2:13
    Lap 28: 2:53

AHHH That was another frustrating performance due to weather changing.

Made a arse of my breaking point and went into the barrier Possibly interfearing with others hopfully not but if i did then sorry.

Then next 15 laps was madness. @maddogmolloy @kevin @ms20 and @mcwobblin all joined in an amazing sprint style battle for 2nd.

As it started to rain my race went all to pot. Was coming in for inters and got options so 1 very slow lap later i was in for the Inters while in the pits my team mate announced its time for wets so another very slow lap and for the 3rd lap in a row i was in the pits for wets this time. After an amazing start it was kinda a boring run till the last lap where i passed McWobblin for 6th

    What a race^^…….

I was to careful on my fastest qualifying lap in the last sector.
I decided to start on primes. Got out of turn 1 fairly cleanly, however I got spun around at the end of the first straight which moved me down to P7.
On pace I was definitely down on @ljkobrien during the first stint partly because I had to wait until @mrgrieves, @ms20 and @maddogmolloy pushed each other out of the way to make space for me, I didn’t want to get involved due to the risk of a crash^^.
I eventually passed them, however @maddogmolloy was able to keep and we had a two lap battle with him.

I was starting to reduce the gap to @ljkobrien after that, and passed him as he stopped. As he came out on the softer compound, I was easy prey for him on my used hard tires.
Then I just kept following him and had a good 6 sec gap as we both pitted on the same lap for inters.

4 laps later he spun, due to the heavier rain, although I that, I decided to do another lap on the inters which turned out to be fatal, my 18 sec gap had been reduced to 5 in just one lap…….

Switched back to the inters 9 laps later but it was impossible to reduce the gap to @ljkobrien sufficiently.

I had brilliant luck with another rainy race.

I had a good qualifying, going faster with every lap and managing to get around 0.6 over @ms20 in 2nd. Unfortunately I forgot to choose the prime tyres for the start while everyone around me had remembered. If it hadn’t been for the pile up at the start I wouldn’t have won in the end as it allowed me to build up almost a full pit stop worth of time to pit for new tyres when my options degraded.

On my fresh tyres I managed to catch and overtake @Powerderfinger who was a couple of seconds in front of me after my stop. I was only out for a few laps before I needed to come in again for inters with my team mate right behind me. From then on I built up a good gap back to Kevin and Mark who were fighting for 2nd but unfortunately I spun on the increasingly wet track, putting me back down to second, I pitted for wets on the same lap and came out back in front. From then on I maintained a gap of roughly 5-8 seconds to Mark as the track dried. I think Mark made a mistake with tyre changing because all of a sudden he was no where in sight and Kevin and I brought home a Force India 1-2 (although I almost threw it away on the final pit straight weaving to celebrate the win!)

With the absence of both McLarens the gap for the constructors has closed up! Hopefully Kevin and I can build on this momentum after Christmas :)

Take it @jlkobrien won again? On a wet roll!

Gutted that i had to miss a race where @lemon wasn’t present!! I’ve been practicing hard at Silverstone already though, so looking forward to the New Year!

If anyone is up for some sprint races / one-off events in between now and 7th January 2013 that could be quite cool.

I can’t do any evening this week, 24th / 25th / 26th or 1st January but any other day would be cool within reason.

Hope everyone has great Christmas and New Years and will hopefully see you online soon!

    :-)

Sorry to be a pain but I just have few questions to ask.
    1. What time is the race because I go back to school that day.
    2. How many laps is it.
    3. Am I allowed driver aids
    Thanks
    Rob

    1. What time is the race because I go back to school that day.

    20:30 GMT.

    2. How many laps is it.

50% Race distance, therefore depended on the track, on average I think it’s about 27- 32 laps.

    3. Am I allowed driver aids

Yes, you may choose all assists if needed.
