Q: Who will be your biggest rival?
A: Hard one to call. As I’ve said, I feel like I’m starting on the back foot. Hopefully though I can renew my rivalry with @Strunk27, @ms20 and @mrgrieves and maybe give @Lemon something to think about (unlikely!)

Q: Who will be the surprise package this season?
A: A newbie. I reckon @Lemon‘s mate will be handy.

Q: Are you using a steering wheel or a pad?
A: Microcon 2 (Madcatz) wheel + pedals.

Q: Will you be recording the races to share on the forum?
A: Probably.

Q: Do you have a headset or if not, will you be getting one?
A: Yes, I have a headset.

Q: What are you expecting from the season opener?
A: I expect my pace to be poor, so will hope to have a clean race without too many mistakes and pick up a few points. If I could hit the top 6 I’d be really happy.

Q: What is your prediction for the top 3 in Australia?

Not too sure, I was beginning to set decent lap times before my wheel broke and I’ve put off playing with a pad while waiting for my replacement to arrive (which still hasn’t) I think it’s going to take me a while to get into a consistent rhythm

I’m hoping to consistently score points at first and then work my way up the table once I’ve found my feet, with number this season though, points aren’t always a certainty as they were in the past

Regular starts, a hectic schedule last season mixed with bad luck meant I only had 4 or 5 finishes to my name

Not too sure, although I’ve always enjoyed Australia

We had some terrific fights a couple of seasons ago, and were together during the last race of the previous season if I remember correctly too, hopefully we can push each other to our best without coming to blows with each other :P

I’d hope we can be open and exchange setups, as well as strategise pit stops, unfortunately I don’t think he uses a head set so communication during races may be difficult

Unpredictability, people in position they haven’t found themselves in in previous seasons would make a good opening race

Hey @MadDogMolloy and everyone else a quick heads up.. I’m on the very outskirts of hurricane Sandy’s path so while I shouldn’t be getting the full extent of the chaos there will be high winds in my area. There could be a chance I’ll be without power so if I’m not there on time that is most likely what the issue is. Just thought I’d give you a heads up!

Can’t say really as I don’t know how good the majority are here. I run Lemon pretty close in our co-op championship when he has the assists off, so hopefully it’ll be close with them on here.

Q: (For newcomers) What can you add to the championship? What sort of driver are you?
I can offer people a free pass at the start lol. I never ever get good starts, mainly because I’m too edgy at the first corner in order to avoid crashes. That does mean, however, that I am as clean as they get – although I have a knack of getting lengthy time penalties in races for accidental corner cuts. My record is 90 seconds.

Q: Are there any tracks on the calendar that will suit you?
Hermann Tilke’s circuits are all crap to watch on TV, but (other than Malaysia, China and Austin) I love them all on the game. Abu Dhabi is my favourite. The last sector, when put together perfectly, is just great.

Q: What do you think about your team mate?
Known mr Lemon for years in person so we’re a decent team.

Barge anyone off the circuit.

No seriously, Herbie takes this all very seriously so I imagine he’ll have some sort of plan in place weeks before a race lol. I believe he won every race last season, and he wants to win all 20 this time. With me around that won’t happen lol.

Could do if you want. I have a high quality capture card, but by ‘high quality’ that means it eats up my PC space at 1GB per minute more-or-less. So full races are a no go.

I hope to do well but to be honest even after the sprint championship last week i’m still in the dark about where everyones pace is.

it can only go downhill really, 100% win rate wont be possible with the new unknown quanities on the grid, also the law of averages suggests that 32 race wins in a row is very unlikely whatever the weather (no pun intended)….

Monaco tends to be a favourite

Hes quick, unbeatable on forza 4 he races with some of the best in the world. isn’t quite as well practiced on F1 (at least with assists allowed) but will get very quick very fast….

I tried once last season with my canon dslr, but it cut out halfway through the races as it has a limited time allowance for recording, so unless I get something more adequate then no

Fell asleep at the wheel and missed my lap in qualifying so qualifyied last. Totally didnt see the rain coming so being last i gambled on wets and that had me 1 minute a lap of the pace. So race ruined all i could do now was take out my team mate as i spun trying to get out the way. Great start to the season and really a crap end to a crap day. See you next week guys
