Just been playing with the decal editor, we could use something like this for the numbers (old BTCC style). I could upload the base and people can add their own numbers. http://t.co/CmB6aCm

Obviously anything using the F1Fanatic name would need Keith’s blessing. We could just as easily make up a name for the series and use that if need be, its all good with me.

I started making an F1Fanatic logo, but quit out of the livery editor without saving, so I’ll start again tomorrow. I’ll make a number box of some kind.

Hey, I’d probably be up for giving this a go too, though my only real experience of Forza online either involved me getting run off the road by some player or being left in the dust by people rather better at the game than me. I also spent about 10 minutes trying to type out an apology with a 360 controller after hitting someone…

Oh, I’m absolutely hopeless with the paint scheme editor. I guess I’d manage to recreate the classic Mclaren Orange/White, but there will undoubtedly be people more deserving of that than I.

As for rules… all assists allowed for anyone who wants to use them, do we want damage as cosmetic or simulation?

Laps wise, it would be nice to have a decent amount of laps so if people make mistakes they can either catch up or be caught up, depending on where they are when they make the mistake. 15 laps on the shorter tracks with the slower cars?

I had to turn my volume down, that way I could hear you and not myself or your tv sound in the background. Whether this will work with more than 2 people, I don’t know, but it was fine once I turned the volume down. Was mine Ok at your end?

As for your red liveries, don’t go downloading any. (Some) cost money and you can’t edit them. Your livery doesn’t have to be anything amazing, just paint the car red and add some go faster stripes or something, or just layer up some of the basic shapes to create a design you like. As for sponsors, well, we’re first timers… It’s not like our cars would be covered with the logos of multinationals anyway… just use the pre-made manufacturer ones that Forza provides. And then for your main sponsor, slap ‘The Good Suns’ down the doors and on the bonnet! =D

If you buy and download and apply whole car designs, you won’t be able to edit and add numbers to them.

However, if you build up your own car design from scratch, but using bought and downloaded vinyl groups, you can freely apply them to your car, along with numbers, names, your own graphics, whatever. you just won’t be able to edit those vinyl groups you downloaded or upload the car as your own design. maybe that’s the best route for you.
