Now you too can try and remember which button is the DRS and KERS too.

£130
That’s on top of the price of the T500 that’s £385 at Amazon. Phew!!!!
Almost the price of a years worth of SKY.
Don’t think I’ll get that past the wife…

14th September 2011, 3:15 at 3:15 am #178059Joey-PoeyParticipantI would absolutely not recommend this wheel. I had a Ferrari Thrustmaster wheel before my current one (a Momo Logitech) and the paddle shifter snapped off in the middle of the race. Cheap plastic and not liable to last you very long if you race fairly often. My Momo has shown to be far more sturdy and more worth the investment. Even bought used, it’s lasted longer.

14th September 2011, 7:35 at 7:35 am #178061Magnificent GeoffreyParticipantThat’s peculiar Joey, I had the exact same thing happen to me in the middle of an online race years ago on F1C! It was probably the same paddle too, the upshift paddle on the right.
14th September 2011, 9:07 at 9:07 am #178062xtopheMemberI’d rather upgrade some internals of my PC than buy a new wheel.

15th September 2011, 2:26 at 2:26 am #178064Joey-PoeyParticipant@MG – Yep, that exact one. Damn thing began to feel soft, then next thing I know, it comes off in my hand.

If you’re going to have a choice, why the screwdriver for installation?
If you’re serious about spending this sort of money the Fanatec option starts to look better, with the quick release wheels.

I know what I’d rather do if I was going to switch between GTR of F1 wheels for my sim racing. Is this a mistake by Thrustmaster. I mean, how much does it cost to fit a quick release?
4th October 2011, 13:12 at 1:12 pm #178066AsanatorParticipanthaving used a number of my friends wheels over the years, can can say that nothing even comes close to the Logitech G27!
It’s not about looks, it’s about feel and build quality!
