Definitely getting into Forza now that i’ve got a steering wheel. Had no idea how much fun it was driving properly with no assists. I’m pretty average but its a lot of fun! Can’t handle the fast cars yet.

Do you have a schedule of cars you are making ajokay? or do you make what tickles your fancy?

@sw6569 – I just do what tickles my fancy. I have ideas for cars I want to do, but rarely do they get done. The ones that end up getting done are the unplanned ones. Like the Lotus-Renault GP one, I just painted it black and added the RenaultSport chequered pattern in gold, then I thought “Fuck it, I’ll just do the entire car”, then I did the Team Lotus Renault because I felt guilty having done one but not the other.

The ones I’ve wanted to do but never have are my Dad’s car (Lexus IS) in a livery based around his company’s logo, and various BTCC cars

im in the process of rediscovering the game. we should do a race some time, though i’ll need some time to practice. maybe RWD only for some skill :D

FWD’s are just as tricky to drive with their chronic understeer. They’re all fairly evenly matched.

i’d like to andrewtanner but i’m not around for a couple of weeks – but we should definitely organise a race at some point! I’m not very good either, only just started using a wheel and have taken all assists off so im rubbish :D

Although I don’t have a copy of Forza III, I do have Forza II if anyone ever wants to get a game going in there.

I finally got the game yesterday, and so far I’m undecided. I’m not so sure on the handling model, seems very sensitive with my wheel compared to F1 2010 which I’m used to.

However I do really like the amount of things you can do, really comprehensive with set up and replays. I wish F1 was more like this with things like replays, spectating online races when you’ve joined, and liveries.

I’d be up for some races and maybe a championship.

@smifaye you’ll get into it. I have to say, i’ve had this game for a long time and honestly i thought it was good – but not great until recently when I started using the wheel with no assists on. I’m genuinely not very good but I really enjoy it. We should have a few races and then consider how to do a championship after that!
