I’m in the same boat as you ajokay. I haven’t tried it, but maybe you have to develop a certain number of each drive train before it comes up. On that note, is there anything other than knobby tires of tire chains to help on those tracks?

@DamionShadows I’ve made plenty of FF and MR cars, not so many FR cars, but I would have thought I’d unlocked 4WD if it was an option. Seems odd that it isn’t, seeing as the game has ice, rally, and poor tarmac races. I’ve only seen Knobbly Tyres and Tyre Chains as obvious upgrades, but you need anything that ups the handling, which includes wings and better chassis.

The 4WD is unlocked, its either a late sponsorship or winning a race (Britain?) but i didnt get it till very late.

Ah, that figures. I finally got decent enough cars to win the championship without winning the ice or rally races. I keep starting over anyways cause it’s such a fun game, lol
