Haven’t really kept up to date on this, but I’ll let you all know what happened after the race in China.

    - Scored the first points for the team in Valencia, with a rain hit Grand Prix, resulting in 8th I believe, just ahead of Kobayashi.
    - Was having a great home GP until I spun and ruined it.
    - Held off Raikkonen and three other cars to finish in the points again (10th) in Hockenheim.
    - Ended up moving teams to Toro Rosso for the Hungarian GP, where I discovered that either Ricciardo had a much updated car compared to mine, or the team had bought my old Caterham, and just updated the livery :P
    - Alonso continued to lead the Championship, and win it.
    - Selected Senna as my rival, and although it was close he was 3-0 ahead of my in the first of the 7 final races :(
    - Had an upturn in form in Korea, ending my points drought from the back of the German GP, once again holding off the Lotuses to score the final point.
    - Was running in 3rd (Somehow!) for almost the entire race in India, until Button passed me with 3 laps to go, and then Webber bumped me down another place in the final lap. Still, 5th was my best finish to date, and brought me safely above my team mate in points.
    - Running in the points again in Abu Dhabi, until I made a mistake, and took out my team mate in a massive spin. Still managed to finish ahead of Senna, and secure an offer from Williams for the next season after a good result in America (Not that I can remember it)
    - Can’t remember the Brazilian GP either.

    Season 2:
    - Moved to Williams, running in 2nd for most of the race after qualifying 8th I think, until I spun and came 6th, gifting Button second place (I think), and Maldonado 3rd.
    - Qualified 4th in Malaysia, and despite some pressure early on, managed to end Williams win drought, finishing ahead of Grosjean I believe.
    - Qualified on pole in China, and led for the entire race in front of Hamilton and Button, both of which had come under pressure from Maldonado at some point in the race, but he still managed a decent 4th place.
    - Leading the Championship now, and on to Bahrain :P

    Race 2: Malaysia
    Qualifying: 19th – Race: 4th
In qualifying I went 2.2s faster than my free practice lap time, and I took 19th place 1.4s behind Hamilton and 0.4s ahead of Petrov; de la Rosa was last, 1s slower than me.
I had a wonderful start, and I passed several cars on the inside of turn 1 and on the outside of turn 2, and I completed the job by reaching 5th position at turn 4. The leading cars all collided and ran wide at turn 14 and I took the lead. I succeeded in keeping it until I pitted on lap 6, but three cars got ahead of me on strategy. I was close to Webber but my car obviously lacked speed, and my “rich” fuel mode wasn’t working, so he got clear of me quickly. I initially struggled to keep the other drivers behind me but later my engine started working properly again and it was a little easier for me to maintain 4th place, and I was successful in doing so; de la Rosa was 21st.

    Race 3: China
    Qualifying: 19th – Race: 10th
In the wet the gaps were smaller but I still was 19th, only 3 tenths ahead of Kovalainen and over a second faster than my team mate who was 23rd.
I was actually struggling not to lose positions until turn 5, when I braked very late and took 10th place. I tried to keep up with Maldonado but after a lap I surrendered and started saving fuel for later on in the race. I pitted on lap 6 whilst still 10th, and I avoided any traffic in the pit lane; I used the maximum engine power and after everyone had stopped at least once I was back into 10th. I kept pushing hard and in the first sector of the track I usually gained around two seconds on my closest rival, which gave me a good gap to administrate until the DRS zone when it was cancelled, but I managed to keep everyone behind and eventually I crossed the line in the top 10 for the third consecutive time, whilst de la Rosa was 23rd.

    Season 1 – Force India – Professional

    Race 1 – Australia
    Qualifying: 17th – Race: 10th
My first race of my career wasn’t bad. I qualified in P17, as I passed in Q2 by 1 tenth. In the start I was at P9 place. A mistake in the 3rd lap, put me in P10 behind Vergne. Later that lap I overtook Vergne. I pitted on lap 6 and I overtook Rosberg who had jumped me. On lap 9 I lost KERS and hadn’t the system until the 11th lap. In that space Rosberg passed me. Then I held back di Resta (who lost his front wing after we collided), Vergne, Schumacher and some others to take a very good 10th place.

    Season 1 – Force India – Professional

    Race 2 – Malaysia
    Qualifying: P10 – Race: P2
There was a small possibility of rain, so I thought that it could start raining midway through the race, so I selected primes in Q3. I was up to P3 after the 4th corner, and up to P2 by the end of the lap, as Alonso crashed. Then I was pushing too hard to defend and I made some mistakes, but I was able to take back my place at the next corner. On lap 6, the most cars behind me pitted and I put some very fast laps (including the fastest lap of the race at that time), while the sky was darking very fast. I pitted on lap 8, as I saw the clouds going away, and rejoined just behind Kobayashi, although I overtook him after switching back. Then it was defending until the end. I was really happy with my result, which put me 5th in the standings.

    Season 1 – Force India – Professional

    Race 3 – China
    Qualifying: P11 – Race: P2
It was a race similar to the previous one. A clean start put me in P3, Button retired, while leading, I was defensive all the time, but hopefully, my tyre strategy (prime – option) worked very nicely. Hamilton won and took the lead in the standings, overtaking Button and I am now in P3. di Resta has one point and is now in P15.

    Season 1 – Force India – Professional

    Race 4 – Bahrain
    Qualifying: P12 – Race: P1
The first win has come. I decided to do once again the prime-option strategy. At the start, I luckily found space, went up to P4 and I overtook a couple of cars at the fourth corner to go up to P2. At the first corner of the second lap, Vettel went wide and I took the lead. I was under pressure until the pitstops and did some solid laps to take P1 after exiting the pits. At the last few laps, Webber, running in P2 went wide and Vettel , after having get past Webber, bumped me and lost his wing, and Massa overtook him. I won ahead of Massa, Webber and Button. In the standings, I am second behind Button and ahead of Hamilton who retired, while di Resta is up to 12th.

    Season 1 – Force India – Professional

    Race 5 – Spain
    Qualifying: P7 – Race: P2
After an eventful qualifying, I got a very difficult P7. FI had brought a new steering, which didn’t work as planned. At the first corner I was very lucky not to take someone out, and I took the lead. I made a small gap to Vettel and I was happy to see that both McLarens were out of the points, having made a pitstop. The gap to Vettel closed, because I had tyre issues. I pitted a lap after Vettel, and rejoined in P3, behing Vergne and a Sauber, who had pit yet. Unfortunately, I run wide on cold tyres at turn 4 and Vettel went through. The most important part of the race was the laps 11-13 when I made a gap to Alonso and Raikkonen, who were right behind me. I finished second and took the lead in the standings, 13 points ahead of Hamilton.

    Race 4: Bahrain
    Qualifying: 19th – Race: 7th
Once again I was 19th in qualifying, but this time, after finding a perfect setup in free practice, I took my usual position early on and then went on improving until I finished 1.4s slower than di Resta and a whole second faster than Kovalainen.
I reached 6th place on the first lap of the race and then started holding off my rivals: I had a good top speed and it wasn’t as hard before they could use DRS. At times they got through and I out-braked them to take my place back, at times they passed me before the detection point and I had the DRS, but anyhow I was still in 6th place when lap 6 came and I pitted. I came out 12th behind my team mate, but on the following lap Grosjean attacked me on the straight as Hulkenberg exited the pit lane: I passed between the two and then took advantage of my warmer tyres to overtake Hulkenberg exiting turn 1. On lap 11 I made a mistake and Raikkonen got through, but I pushed hard and kept Massa behind. On the penultimate lap I lost three places due to DRS but I got them all back at once by out-braking Hamilton, Vergne and Grosjean, and I finished 7th, while de la Rosa was 22nd.

    Season 1 – Force India – Professional

    Race 6 – Monaco
    Qualifying: P11 – Race: P10
I never liked Monaco, and this would not be the time I would love it. I qualified P11 and was up to P6 before the stops. I stopped and had an awful stop which put me down to P11, and then I made a pass at Tabac to take P10.

    Race 7 – Canada
    Qualifying: P10 – Race: P2
Despite Q1 and Q2 were dry, Q3 was wet and with no skills in wet, I qualified in P10. At the race, I had a crazy start which put me into the lead. Tha pitstop cost me again, but hopefully I only lost 1 place to Alonso, who won ahead of me, Massa and Webber.

    Race 8 – Europe
    Qualifying: P2 – Race: P2
I had my best qualifying of the season and lost pole by 1 tenth. Behind me there were not the usual guys. They were in P18 down to last. I took the lead, and led the whole race until lap 13. Alonso passed me at the DRS zone and I couldn’t take the place back. Hamilton was in P9, and I am the leader of the championship, 18 points ahead of him.

    Season 1 – Force India – Professional

    Race 9 – Great Britain
    Qualifying: P17 – Race: DNF
Well, it’s one of the weekends, that everything went wrong. With 60% possibility to rain at qualifying and 94% posibility to rain at the race, I used a wet setup. But it didn’t rain at all, except on lap 2 when a shower made me think to go into the pits. I went in and that was it. It didn’t rain and I retired 4 laps because it made no sense to keep going in P19.

    Race 10 – Germany
    Qualifying: P6 – Race: P1
This was the exactly opposite. Only one mistake in qualifying destroyed my perfect weekend. In the race, I made a very good start, which put me into P2, and then P1 after overtaking Button at the second corner. I opened my lead to 5 seconds and pitted at lap 5. After the pitstops, my lead was down to 1.5 seconds and the car behind me (Button, Vettel and Raikkonen were exchanging positions) was one lap inside 1 second of me and one lap out of it, so I took the lead, which gives me a 25 points lead over Hamilton. Next race I will be with Sauber.

    Race 5: Spain
    Qualifying: 19th – Race: 10th
I was 19th again in qualifying, only 2 tenths faster than Petrov and over a second slower than the midfield.
I recovered eleven positions on the first lap but I had to let Grosjean and Hulkenberg through once DRS was enabled. I managed to keep 10th place until the pit stops, and I came out in the same position in front of Ricciardo, who pitted a couple of laps later. I had a short period of tranquillity before I was once again reached by my rivals, with Ricciardo amongst them. Defending became harder and harder as they grew closer together but I kept my spot with a brave last-second attack on Webber who had just overtaken me a few laps from the chequered flag. I wasn’t lapped by only a few seconds, and I finished 10th; de la Rosa was 22nd.

    Race 6: Monaco
    Qualifying: 19th – Race: 13th
For the first time a Caterham – Petrov’s – qualified ahead of me, but since di Resta failed to set a timed lap I was 19th once again. I rose to 10th on the first lap and two separate collisions helped me to take 7th; by lap 3, however, I lost a position as I spun at Piscine. I continued without problems until lap 8, when I pitted: I was the only one to do so and my mechanics also changed my slightly-damaged front wing, which was not necessary and cost me further, precious seconds. I joined in 14th ahead of de la Rosa, and progressed to 12th within a couple of laps as others stopped. On lap 12, Schumacher left the pits and I narrowly earned the place on him. Again, I went on without problems until on the third-to-last lap I spun again before the tunnel and both Rosberg and Massa got through. I then had to let race leader Hamilton through on lap 18 and I ended the race one lap down, in 13th place; de la Rosa was 18th.

    Race 7: Canada
    Qualifying: 19th – Race: 1st
With my first flying lap I was quick enough to take 19th place, and as those behind me never improved I didn’t need to go out again to secure my result. The race was wet and I immediately took advantage of my great start by driving on the inside of the first two corners to reach 9th place. I overtook three cars entering turn 3, another one exiting the same corner and then at turn 6 I passed Hamilton as Vettel ran wide and I reached 3rd position. On the second lap Alonso ran wide at the same corner and I passed him, and Webber lost the lead of the race by making the same mistake on the third lap. In a race which saw multiple crashes at turn 6, I kept the lead of the race, at times troubled by my rivals, at times breathing easily as it was their turn to make a mistake. In the final third of the race I had a gap of around 9 seconds on Vergne, but in the final laps I was forced to defend my position. I had driven cautiously for the whole race, not finding the confidence to push harder. My fastest lap, 1:27.2, was almost 5 seconds slower than Perez’s fastest lap of the race, and I lost up to three seconds per lap when my opponents went at their best. Nonetheless I was capable of winning the race ahead of Senna and Vergne, with Glock finishing 7th and de la Rosa 9th. Only 13 drivers were classified, most having retired after I had lapped them.

I finished 4th in Hungary, I think 3rd at Spa, and won in Italy.

    Race 8: Europe
    Qualifying: 15th – Race: 7th
Pedro qualified 23rd, as I got through to Q2 with a 6th place. I then struggled to improve my lap times and finished 15th. I struggled to avoid any collision at the start but somehow reached 6th place. It wasn’t too hard for me to keep the others behind apart from on the back straight, but I always braked as late as possible and kept my position. I pitted on the 6th lap and earned a little time on Perez, but my 7th lap was not perfect and eventually Rosberg and Grosjean came out ahead of me. I managed to keep in Grosjean’s tow and, using DRS, I overtook him whilst also defending from Perez. I reached 7th place and from then on I endured several attacks from my rivals who changed position continuously; in particular on the last lap I had to let Massa and Hulkenberg through, but somehow the Brazilian was slow in the chicane and I overtook Hulkenberg on the outside and then Massa on the inside of the following corner. I was back in 7th position and that’s where I finished, whilst my team mate was 17th.
