@bradley13 Er…. It’s an unofficial self-given name? lol. Officially my name is Chan Jian Ming, Chan being the last name, Jian Ming being the first name. I could provide the name in Chinese script if you prefer :-P

Chinese ( or ethnically Chinese ) folks sometimes pick up an “English name” to complement our official birth certificate names for ease of communication and/or “coolness”. Me – I haphazardly chose the name “Jackie” 2 minutes before my first class in university started – thinking it would be easier to remember… and now it’s kind of a running joke. Hence, friends up to high school call me Jian Ming, and most folks at uni call me Jackie. Feel free to change my name if you think it would look better on the table :-P
