Lap 18 – There’s a McLaren pulled off at the side of the track, but I can’t tell who it is. But Downton’s come through in the lead! It must be Ingram! Downton now leads from Widger, who… that can’t be right, Widger was seven seconds behind Graham on that last lap. No, it’s Widger who’s out! Not again, that is shocking luck.
Lap 21 – Chan is flying in the Sauber, fastest lap, and now he’s passed Butler’s Mercedes.
Lap 24 – Nykänen now takes fastest lap as he closes on his teammate, but he’s locked up into turn 1 and gone to the inside, there’s no avoiding this! He’s collided with his teammate Morley, and both Williams’ are out of the race.
Lap 27 – Franklin tries to re-pass Varga, but he’s made a mistake. Varga has avoided a mistake, but gone miles off-track. Chan passes both of them to move into 5th, while Franklin remains 6th, in a Sauber sandwich.
