Urg – 11th, stuck in Karthikeyan gear all race long. Again, I’m pretty sure it’s the car, not me! :P

Championship is shaping up nicely though!

Gone from an 18 point lead to a 5 point deficit. Well isn’t that just dandy :P. 6 points in front of Ingram, and just three races left. Plenty to play for, but I need a little more luck than I have done at the past two races.

“And Downton crosses the line and takes victory, from Ingram and Kingshark. But, wait, where is Graham? I swear he was running fourth! There is Chan and Bomeny, but still no Graham!? Well, Downton takes the lead in the championship anyway, with Franklin just picking up two points. But wait, someone has just told me that Graham had already crossed the line, literally everyone here has completely missed that: myself, the crowd, Downton for sure, I even think Graham missed it!”

Happy for @carnivorouspope to win Red Bull’s first race since China!

Also, very pleased to see myself fourth despite the disastrous free practice.

    World Championship Standings
    1. Jamie Franklin – 190 pts
    2. Bradley Downton – 188 pts
    3. William Ingram – 181 pts
    4. Johnny Kingshark – 170 pts
    5. Felipe Bomeny – 152 pts
    6. Hollis Graham – 150 pts

3 Grand Prix still to go. Abu Dhabi, United States and Brazil. 40 points separate the top 6, and 75 points still to be earned. Who will win it all? Who? Who? Ladies and gentlemen, place your bets!

My money is obviously on myself. :p

Likewise, while at 125 points Robert Mathershaw @mathers is still mathematically in contention, his chances are looking rather dismal; and with dismal, I mean that he’s 65 points behind with only 75 still to be earned.

@kingshark You might want to redo your math there. @mathers is only 65 points behind.

My bet is on a Lotus driver to win :P

  • Profile picture of JamieFranklinF1 JamieFranklinF1 said 3 months, 3 weeks ago:

I’d have to put my money on Will Ingram to win, so long as his McLaren holds up. He’s had more pole positions than anyone else, and the second most podiums. Not to mention that McLaren are overdue a win, having not won a Grand Prix in 11 races (Since the Canadian GP).

The Red Bulls are a bit of a long shot, but if they both continue winning until the end of the season, then anything could happen.

  • Profile picture of Juan Pablo Heidfeld Juan Pablo Heidfeld said 3 months, 3 weeks ago:

I have only converted one pole to a win though @jamiefranklinf1

And our reliability means I still fancy a Lotus to win it, hopefully I’m wrong though

  • Profile picture of Nicholas Sunderland Nicholas Sunderland said 3 months, 3 weeks ago:

@jamiefranklinf1 Being overdue a win is meaningless from the perspective of probability. You can flip a coin and get heads 100 times, and on the next flip getting tails isn’t any more likely than usual, even if it’s overdue (I’m sure you realize that. Just felt like posting something).
