BREAKING NEWS: KINGSHARK LEAVES RED BULL AFTER DISPUTE
In a shocking turn of events as we head into the second season of the RFCG the first driver news has come about, and it is this, Johnny Kingshark will leave Red Bull after a dispute with the team. Kingshark has felt aggrieved by the way the team has treated him ever since early on in the season, prompting this scathing attack on his team in the Brazil pre-race Press Conference:

“I have a conspiracy that Chris Horner and Adrian Newey are favoring Graham.”

This means that Kingshark will now be looking for a new team, and he is being linked to Ferrari and Williams, however it is thought Ferrari are keen to hold on to their current line-up.

In other news, Shane Butler has also turned his back on Mercedes. Both Butler and Mercedes refused to comment but it is believed he is looking for a new Challenge.

Lies! It’s so unfair. Horner and Newey always favored you over me, and you know it Hollis. Everyone knows that I didn’t have equal equipment. It’s so unfair and totally not my fault. I always had to be play second fiddle. It’s so unfair. Nothing is ever my fault. ;(

MATHERSHAW TOWS FERRARI PARTY LINE IN HOPE OF SECURING CONTRACT

In an interview today, Mathershaw seemed particularly fervent in his support of the views of the Ferrari hierarchy, particularly testing and the number of cars the team can run.

‘I feel that all of these restrictions on testing limit us severely, if Ferrari could have unlimited testing we would be in a better position to provide the spectacle the fans want. I am sure the ban was put in place because Ferrari were the only people with the genius to build our OWN race track.’

‘Another issue is that we should be able to race 3 cars. In the WTCC last year, Chevrolet did so, and it wasn’t as if it put them ahead of the rest of the pack, it just made the racing more exciting!’

It is unknown whether Mathershaw really agrees with this, but one thing is for sure, when he is getting a paycheck from Maranello, he isn’t payed to speak his mind. Could this interview save his seat for next season?

DOWNTON CONFIRMS SHOCK MOVE TO PAGANI
One of the drivers fighting for last years World Championship, Bradley Downton, has confirmed he will leave World Champions Lotus in a shock move to new team Pagani. Pagani enter the sport for their first season this year and a spokesman for the team commented:

We’re delighted to have such a big name on board immediately. It shows Downton has real faith in us to get him back up to the sharp end fairly soon by signing the multi-year contract.

Downton himself later commented:

Pagani is a huge name and a huge brand. Lotus have treated me fantastically over the past season and I’m delighted to have been part of the Championship winning team, but it was time for me to move. I wanted to move somewhere where I could start of and build the team around me, and with Pagani just entering the sport it seemed perfect. They were additional things as well, like they promised me the car would be orange, which is a huge bonus, and the company car I get is a Pagani Zonda! It’s just perfect!

This move leaves Lotus looking for a new driver. They have confirmed Jamie Franklin will be retained for another shot at the title and have stated that have a number of drivers on the short-list for one of the most coveted seats in the RFCG.

Just so you know:
There are 9 ‘Hot’ race and 9 ‘Cold’ races, with the other 4 having no preference. Bear in mind though guys, if it rains, neither tyre that is strong in Dry conditions has an advantage, even if it is a hot or cold track.
