This is where Lotus has the advantage, it has BBC One and Two on the telemetry screens ;) Not that it matters for me, as I’ll have to watch it on iPlayer tomorrow (which means no getting out of the car, and winning the race by a few laps ;) ). So anyone to spoil the Hamilton result for me, will get -10 points :P

Franklin Tops Uneventful FP1 in China
Jamie Franklin topped what proved to be a very boring First Practice session in China, with the only action coming from Oli Peacock’s Pagani, who suffered a suspension failure on his first lap entering the hairpin. He did eventually mange to get out for one slow lap at the end of the session however. Ferrari managed 2nd and 3rd with Morley 4th for McLaren and Kingshark’s Williams rounding out the top 5.

Jamie Franklin remained on top in China as he went fastest again ahead of Ingram’s Williams with his own teammate in third.
