Yes guys, it’s back, but with a difference.
@KeithCollantine – I’ve tagged you in this so as you can make a decision as to whether to delete it or not after I have explained.
Me and @bradley13 are going to be running this one, and I have posted it in the F1 Games section so he can immediately remove any comments we feel are inappropriate and discipline the person or people correctly. When this game was run before a lot of us enjoyed it, but it got VERY out of hand. Me and Bradley will not accept this kind of behaviour here and it WILL NOT HAPPEN. If there is ANY nastiness in this thread the matter will go straight to Keith or another such high up member of the team. You have been warned!

Anyway, if you would like to be a part of this then please sign up as follows. We would like a full 24 car grid, and it is first come first serve. Me and Bradley will be taking part, and so you will have to trust us to play fair. As a lot of you know Bradley runs the F1F PS3 league and runs it very fairly, so I trust the same will happen here.

You still have your 20 points to attribute between:
    Dry Pace:
    Wet Pace:
    Reliability:

As was the same before, the minimum number you can attribute is 2, with the maximum being 10. I think it also goes without saying that you can’t use decimals.

But you now also have 13 points to attribute between:
    Qualifying Pace:
    Race Pace:

The minimum you can attribute to one is 3 and the maximum is 10. We don’t know what the best combination will be, so it will be very interesting to see some different combinations!

Just like before, each team has hidden attributes, but they are based on the 2012 season, so perhaps some research may aid in picking your team in terms of its pace or reliability in different scenarios. Having said that, there can be some odd results, thanks to Random.org so being in a midfield team won’t always be a bad thing :P

Also, each driver will be allowed to select three separate tracks as their favourite. This will give them a slightly better chance at those particular tracks (5 points).

    Calendar:
Round 1 – Qantas Australian Grand Prix
Round 2 – Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix
Round 3 – UBS Chinese Grand Prix
Round 4 – Gran Premio de España Santander
Round 5 – Grand Prix de Monaco
Round 6 – Grand Prix du Canada
Round 7 – Grand Prix of Mexico (Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez)
Round 8 – Dutch Grand Prix (Circuit Park Zandvoort)
Round 9 – Santander British Grand Prix
Round 10 – Großer Preis Santander von Deutschland
Round 11 – Eni Magyar Nagydíj
Round 12 – Shell Belgian Grand Prix
    Round 13 – Gran Premio Santander d’Italia
Round 14 – SingTel Singapore Grand Prix
Round 15 – Japanese Grand Prix

@joey-zyla – I am a moderator in this section, and this game shall remain open. I will respond to each of your posts in the thread in this message and then subsequently delete them from the thread because they are inappropriate.

    My game’s been taken. Nice..

Firstly, your game has not been ‘taken’. The idea has been duplicated and modified. You do not own the rights to this game and in fact commented that you got the idea from someone/somewhere else anyway, therefore it is not even your game.

@shaneb12345678910 How would you like it if somebody stole your thread?

No-one has ‘stolen’ your thread. As above, you do not own it, therefore no-one can steal it.

Take this down right now or I will contact Keith.

This is a threat, and threats are not appreciated on the forum. This is a warning to you.

@jamiefranklinf1 How nice of you to ask before you basically steal my game. That was sarcasm, in case you’re too arrogant to notice.

This, is just out and out being nasty for the sake of being nasty. I will be reporting this.

    @keithcollantine Please close this.

You have no reason to request this. You may feel hard done by but actually, no-one has done anything wrong.

    @bradley13 @olliekart Please close this.

Neither me, nor olliekart will close this thread, there is no reason to as it is not in breach of forum rules.

When I came up with an idea for a forum game, I shared it with this community in the hope that it would be appreciated. It was an act of kindness that I shared it with you guys in the first place, there are plenty of forums I could have posted it on. I worked hard four days a week to ensure that the results were posted and people had something somewhat F1-related to think about. I know how it is without Formula One, I am a fan myself. Please, never forget that this was MY game, and I put work in to it to make this forum better for ALL of us, and hopefully make the off-season go by faster as well.
The majority of moderators live in Europe, so I understand why this has not been locked yet. It is my wish for a moderator to lock this. I can respect their decision if it is not locked, however I would appreciate an explanation, as this thread seems to clearly breach forum rules, which state:
‘Please do not start new threads which duplicate content on the main site or elsewhere in the forum.
Any duplicate threads will be closed and may also be deleted.’
Thank you to everyone who legitimately appreciated and enjoyed the ORIGINAL game and does not join this imitation.

Firstly, your game was appreciated very much, and a lot of people enjoyed it, hence why me and Jamie have worked so hard to try and build it back up for everyone. Indeed it was an act of kindness, and we all appreciate it, and are grateful you chose this forum. I agree, you did put in a lot of work, no-one is denying that, but again, it is not ‘your’ game. You do not own the rights to it.

‘Please do not start new threads which duplicate content on the main site or elsewhere in the forum.
Any duplicate threads will be closed and may also be deleted.’

The reason this has not been closed. It does not duplicate content on the main site, or elsewhere on the forum. Let me explain. The other forum game was closed because there was nastiness going on, not because it was in breach of any other forum rules. Re-opening this game is in no way at all a breach of forum rules unless people start being nasty here as well.
If you have any more questions feel free to respond and I will do my best to give you answers.
